I finally took delivery of my LR after two days of delays. Picked it up at the Fremont factory and overall was a pretty good experience. I plan to use my cargo liner which attaches to the back of the captains chairs. Not that elegant but better than nothing. Haven't seen any other solutions yet.

Where in the passenger footwell are you seeing water? I haven't seen this before but also I have rubber floor mats installed.

It's strange that we're not seeing this issue widely reported in the US. Is there any difference between vehicles for NA vs international? My understanding was that these were all from Fremont.

I don't think it's FUD. The problem just doesn't have enough visibility and I don't know if it's because not enough people have discovered it or not everyone is affected. The next time it rains hard in Seattle, I'll check mine again.

I actually had a trim removal kit and only had to take a few clips off (not the whole piece) to reach inside to check. I'll def be checking immediately after the next rain :)

I'm in Seattle and we just had a really wet weekend but it could be that it dried up. How long would i need to turn on the A/C for before checking?

I actually just went and checked. No water from what I can tell around the sponge area or the passenger foot well.

Anyone take their vehicle suffering from this issue into service? I'm so paranoid now that I'm thinking about checking on my own with trim removers.
