Question: I saw someone recently talk about merging their orders once they got an inventory car. Does anyone know who I should contact to ask about that?

OMG I'm shaking. I just snagged an inventory car. Red, 7 Seater, Black Interior, 20" Induction wheels. Coming from TX - $1000 transport fee. EDD August 31 - September 3. I can't believe it - worth every penny of the $80 I spent for Distill cloud monitoring (every 2 minutes). 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

It was probably unrealistic to be optimistic with May orders still waiting, but really bummed that my July 4 order is now showing a Oct 14 - Nov 3 EDD. Emailed my SA / SC asking about demo cars. Also using distill to monitor for inventory cars but 7 seaters are hard to come by.

No EDD change thus far. Sad face. Also, I don’t think what @Tom_July_2021 said was remotely offensive. We obviously all have means beyond the average American. Some are paying cash and it’s no problem. Some are paying cash and it’s most of their savings. Some are financing 100%. Opportunity...

I actually saw it while I was setting up Distill lol. I immediately clicked through and hit the Buy button but it 404’d (great experience). Repeatedly tried for 10 minutes and then the listing URL redirected me to the inventory search. I had to have been really close, but no cigar.

Saw an inventory car that matched my exact specs 2 hours ago. But someone else was faster. Also I don’t understand how these cars end up in inventory when there are outstanding orders to match.

Feels like this is the shift from East Coast where the leftovers get pushed to Q4. 😢

My EDD hasn’t changed in over a week: 9/16 - 9/30 Thankful that I haven’t skipped to October, but some directional information would be nice. I mean if EDD is a magic 8-ball I’d like to at least see some variety.

Yeah, for awhile it was 9/13 or 9/14 on the front but now it's static. I wouldn't really care except that psychologically it feels like nothing is happening. 😬

It’s really interesting how random EDDs are and how differently they move for different people. Seeing so many people that ordered weeks or months before me (Jul 4) have random moves to October and November. Meanwhile, my EDD has basically been 9/13 or 9/14 - 9/30 the last month straight...

Rock steady at 9/14 - 9/30. My EDD only changes during Octoberfest.

This morning I was back to 9/14 - 9/30 from October. But some time in the last 10 minutes it went back to October lol.

Mine continues to be stable. 9/13 - 9/30. Ordered 7/4. Pretending like it's real but fully expect October or November. :-/

Front date moved closer by one day: 9/13-9/30 Which is also the EDD I had the last week or July.

After spending the last 2 days at "October", it updated to 9/14 - 9/30 in the last hour. That's one day forward of my last range estimate on July 31: 9/13 - 9/30.

Ah, so they literally don't itemize it? Well that's a load of BS! Just did the back of the napkin math and mine adds up correctly without any $500 fees hidden or otherwise. I'm wondering if the rep at the SC was able to change it without incurring a fee?

I changed to the 20" induction wheels and my price breakdown doesn't have an order change fee. Might depend on how you change it. I called the SC where I am picking it up. Also didn't seem to affect my place in queue. EDD wasn't impacted. Though now I'm in the October club with everyone else.

Been lurking here for awhile. Ordered a 7 seater MY (MSM) on 7/4. Finalized on 7/6. Changed to 20" induction on 7/18. Been on 9/13 - 9/30 for 4 or 5 days now. I fully expect to not take delivery until October, but appreciate the community of people waiting is so vibrant. 🍻
