As I said earlier in this thread, Tesla replaced the computer in my car. The problem hasn’t reoccurred. If it keeps up, ask them to replace the computer.

Ran the update two days ago. Now I can only connect via Bluetooth to my phone when in the car – it disconnects as soon as I exit. And if we connect my wife’s phone (in the car), mine disconnects. Can’t have more than one connected. And when she exits, hers disconnects too. What’s going on here???

Tesla is replacing the computer in my MY. Service rep says that while not common, they see this problem occasionally. Because it disables both navigation and the backup cameras, it’s considered to be a significant problem. We’ll see if replacing the computer fixes it.

So by spotting an inventory car last time, you got to cut in line, right? Good for you. Bad for everyone who plays by what we thought were Tesla's rules. Again, if people weren't "snagging" these cars without waiting in line, you might have already gotten your new car.

. As I said, I don’t begrudge you for cutting in line. I begrudge Tesla for letting you cut in line and taking a vehicle that should have gone to someone who has been waiting. Enjoy your car.

While I don’t begrudge those who bought the “inventory” Ys that Tesla posted, I really can’t understand why Tesla is letting customers languish in line while selling at a higher price to people who haven’t waited. They may be boosting the bottom line, but really, is it worth it? Today is day...

My point is…why put them in inventory for bots to find when people have been waiting patiently for their orders? They have my number. A simple text or phone call would have been enough to get me to any dealer in Northern California on New Years Eve. What kind of dealer “snags” these and sells...

I’ve looked there a few times and never seen anything. Nothing available now. Did you have a secret code? Or a friend in a high place? I find it infuriating that they are selling MYs with a two day turnaround when so many people have been waiting for so long. What’s wrong with this company?

Inventory? What inventory? Most of the people on this thread have been waiting for 4-6 months. (I ordered my MYLR in mid July.) Are you saying that anyone can pick a MYP off the lot? How did you get one in two days?

It’s paid for. No borrowing. It should reduce inflation by increasing workforce participation. Please, no red herrings in a car forum!

FYI - Last week the Senate passed an amendment that grants the $7,500 credit only for EVs that cost less than $40,000, and only if the buyer earns less than $100,000 a year. This could change, but I wouldn’t bet on it
