I just got a VIN. Checked it and it is a 2022 with 26 miles. Order date 8/1/2021. MSM 6 seat FSD. Dunno if I’ll pay yet or do insurance since I haven’t heard from SA. Delivery still says February.

Another thing that bugs me about all of this. Remember that video they made showing the car driving by itself without a problem? Was that even real? I mean that was like 1 or 2 years ago and was made to look much better than what is currently being released. I don’t get it.

I currently have every thing turned off on car and driving manual so it’s working okay at the moment. I haven’t received the new update today yet. To unenroll you have to send an email and who knows if they will actually respond.

I don’t short the stock, I own the stock and have a Model X reserved. That doesn’t have any bearing on having a car slam the breaks on by itself for no reason at highway speeds. Try being less of a fanatic.

Ordered mine 8/1 initially said February but has blank for over a week now.

I’d rather deal with lack of communication from Tesla than ever go and deal with a dealer again. Everyone needs to remember that there is a global pandemic with significant impacts on supplies like chips etc.

I placed my Model X order figuring that I wouldn’t have it until first quarter of next year. The chip shortage issues are obviously very severe. Tesla has needed to work on their customer service for years. At the same time it would take a lot for me to switch to another car maker at this point...

I only do updates at home just in case anything like this ever happens.

Personally would not be surprised if they sold the cars with highest prices first. Obviously shouldn’t, but wouldn’t be surprised.
