Got it and I am sorry you been given the round around. There are several plaids on hand in GTA area. I also think they may discount them before year end. Many of them are 2021 models which are being declined for pickup. Just a thought.

2mm might work. I really didn’t measure it, but from looking at it the 8.5 rims where just touching the break shield, enough to run against it. Best to have the shop do a test fit before mounting the tire on wheel.

I took my 19x8.5 sets from previous models S (2020) to SC and tried it on plaid. They DO NOT fit. The front will hit the break calliper. You can choose to remove the shield but it is not recommended. It’s there for a reason. Bought a set of 19x9.5 with 255/45/19 and 38mm offset. Haven’t tried...

That’s my problem as well. Even with no snow, I heard that these tires don’t do so good on cold and they may get damaged. So I be crawling home and will swap in my garage. 🤪 unless Tesla SC is willing to do it before delivery

Got delivery for Dec4, car was made on Nov10, 24 days to delivery is too long for Tesla. Usually 10 days. I think they are holding them for some reason. Possibly firmware or something.

Mine is MF and I will take it gladly. I don’t think anyone can / should risk paying lux tax for 2022. Furthermore Tesla price doesn’t change by model year but rather millage.

I dont like to go too wide, ideally 255 is my limit. On thick and heavy snow it will act like snow shoes.

You need to know the rim size and offset. If they are on 9.5 and 35 then likely yes

Had similar issue on my MX a few years ago and decided to just learn to love it. As long as trim looks closed without issue. I had issues with window seal that SC was never able to fix. However found some good tips on web and fixed it using a small stick and silicon gun.

Tesla does give you the tax back. Same as any other trade you do at any dealership or auto company.

MS PLAID RED/WHITE 21” delivery changed from Nov22/Dec12 to Nov3/Nov 23. Hopefully it holds!
