Tesla called an hour ago that they can deliver my car tonight!! Anyway I called them back and instead changed it to Fremont pickup. All docs have been signed and agreed. Just waiting for the text from Tesla with the spot number. Any ideas until what time I should wait for the text before...

🎉🎉🎉 I logged into the Tesla account. Didn't see any Tesla Vision pop-up, so naturally scrolled down to confirm my EDD. Yup, the date 9/5-9/17 still remains. And right below that? A pretty little VIN 🥳🥳🥳 VIN is 263XXX. MYLR Blue OD 5/18 I hope everyone else in west coast gets their today too!

Good news folks! My SA called me and said my car is currently in "PRODUCTION" and the "soft-date" is targetted for 9/4. My EDD changed to 9/5 - 9/25.... I hope we're all real close!

Congrats! I'm glad you got re-matched so quickly I was unmatched a month ago. They didn't share what went wrong, even though I repeatedly asked. Anyway my delivery was put on a "high-priority" list... and 29 days later I'm still VIN-less. But I'm hopeful of getting a car soon

My SA said first week of September. Typically how many days after "Soft Date" is delivery?

Hey Team - just got an update on the Tesla website. EDD went from "October" to "Estimated Delivery: September 01 - September 17". 🤞

My SA responded back. Turns out that on his end the Soft Date is still first week of Sept. 😁 Gives me a little bit of hope for an early Sept delivery. Also I did ask my SA to call the delivery manager in Fremont and let her know that I'm really excited/anxious about receiving the car.

Dude - I'll join you. In my case they actually have a sizable downpayment which they never returned following their botched delivery. This is just so freaking frustrating.

This just feels so ridiculous. May orders keep drawing the short stick over and over again. :-(

Congrats. San Jose/Bay Area here too. OD: 5/18, blue, 20". Got VIN 8/1, but then on delivery date 8/7 got a call that there was an "issue" with the car and they needed to assign a new car. So back to VIN-less. Current EDD 8/23-9/08.

We're super pissed too. In my case, we finally had got a VIN and 30 minutes before the scheduled delivery, Tesla ended up canceling the delivery because of some issue with the car. Anyway, back to being VIN-less with no updates on when/if we'll be getting the car. Ordered: 5/18, blue, 20"...

Man. I really wonder how Tesla is prioritizing deliveries. Obviously, some of it is based on config and delivery location. But outside of that is - is it just a roll of the dice ?

Ok, thanks for letting me know. The previous VIN had had a prefix of 242XXX. Nothing on CARFAX yet, but will keep stalking weekly until I get my own car.
