EST says the base price bust be under 50K - I don't think you'll have any issue as the Tesla Invoice actually splits out the LR option as a separate from the base price. I'm sure EST will be able to confirm easily enough.

You can’t buy the car until you get the official loan offer. Once you have that then you can buy the car - there is a second delay after offer trying to get EST to actually process the acceptance and then cough up. Tesla will ask you if you can proceed without EST loan coming through and in my...

I really think if you want to EST loan then you should either a) try and have alternative short-term finance available or b) be realistic that you won't get the car for at 3 months after applying. EST processing appears to have ground to a halt.

Just a heads up for those applying - while they appear to be processing applications quickly - the processing of payments is going at snail's pace. I sent my invoice in on the 27th Aug and they are meant to process within 10 days to communicate when payment will be issues. Still hasn't occurred...

Definitely, although they’ll just reallocate a later car rather than delay. They said lots of people have this done. When I first chatted to them about the cars they brought this up and talked through the process.

Tesla seem geared for EST so they will help you through it - keep your SA in the loop. As soon as I bought the car, the SA asked if I could fund the car without loan short term and when the answer was yes, a car was allocated next day. Similarly when I pinged him to say loan accepted, 2 hours...

Edinburgh SC were very helpful re: EST - as soon as my loan was approved they issued the invoice which allows you to start claim the loan.

I’m mid through EST process and so far it’s much quicker than I’ve seen advertised. It only took about 4 days for EST to approve the loan. After that you can buy the car anytime as long as you can fund the shortfall before the EST funds actually appear.

They LR were definitely showing up in the inventory last week in multiple colours - I ordered one last week and have delivery for end of September. The week before there had been none, so hopefully more will appear soon.

Ordered 19th Aug, allocation text on 23rd Aug and delivery confirmation today for 30th September. Note the delivery confirmation appeared 30mins after I emailed the SA re: EST loan and he said he'd pushed the order forward.
