There's no guarantee you get it this week if you order an "existing inventory". Some people who ordered last week don't even have an estimated time yet. It seems they count cars they haven't even made yet as "existing inventory".

Was able to talk to someone at Seramonte/Colma location, they said they don't know when the software updates will happen, maybe Sunday (despite others stating theirs is already done and are picking up today)

Where are you all finding the phone number for the "DC"? Was it a mistake to pick Colma and not Fremont?

There's a bug in the search. Sometimes you have to change the options (like checking and unchecking standard range, or switching to model s and back to 3) and they all magically come back.

All the mechanical bits wear out faster. Tires, suspension, etc.

Range is different, they'd get a lot of blowback for not delivering what people ordered.

The one I reserved has a Fremont vin. Obviously doesn't account for the source of the batteries.

Okay wow, is this a bait and switch? I didn't catch the 10 mile drop in range and put down a deposit for one of these. Is there something wrong with these ones in the email? The specs don't call out which battery chemistry is present, nor does it say which battery chemistry is better...
