Took delivery of my MYP today. Looks like I got a great sample and overall happy with the quality inside and out. The quality control on the panels/gaps on this car was much better than my wife's Model X plaid.

If my wife is driving, scuffs on all 4 wheels guaranteed....if I'm driving no scuffs! I think if you park by curbs a lot your chances go way up so a lot depends on where you park.

Does the Red multi-coat clash with the red calipers? From the pictures it seems they are different shades of red and don't really match while there's a nice contrast with every other exterior color. I ordered a white/white MYP but thinking about changing to red since I saw this color up close...

Before delivery they did inform me they were working on the rear passenger chair due to creaking. Seems like they fixed it since I haven't heard anything with my kids back there.

My left side looks similar to yours where the rear small window looks like it pokes out. Let us know if you get that fixed. I flagged mine so hopefully it gets fixed.

No issues in my limited use of voice commands. I would get it checked out.

My frunk doesn't close on the first close attempt. I've tried it about 10 times and it latches on the first attempt but requires an additional push to fully close. Is this normal? I also noticed a little bit of a gap between the headlights and the closed frunk so maybe it needs some adjusting.

I'm getting a 22 X plaid on 2/14. They told me it's coming in on the 9th but it takes a few days to check it out and deliver; the schedule gave me from the 13 to the 15th. Everything is so easy on the phone app from scheduling to getting a loan....this of coarse is after you get a VIN and text...

🤣🤣🤣There is some truth to this! My wife could care less about performance although she currently drives a GL63 with a measly 550 hp. She knows she's getting the "higher end" Model X and that it's faster, also knows the price so no sneaking going on here. I do admit the performance is for me;)

My wife can't tell them apart! I quiz my wife when we see one and she's getting better but still confuses the Y and X sometimes. She's getting an X plaid but has no clue about the acceleration 😄

You should get it soon. My delivery window was Feb 5-26 and got a VIN a couple days ago via text. The new window post VIN is Feb 10-14.

Sounds like my X order. Order on 8/27/21, 6 seat plaid, no FSD. EDD from April to Feb 5-26. Good to know I'm not the only one.

Has anyone's estimated delivery moved up? Mine has been April for a few months but I logged in today and it's showing a range of Feb 5 to Feb 26. No VIN has been assigned. This surprised me since I need to get my charging station setup and work on the financing.

My thoughts exactly. Placed an order for an MXP on Friday (white ext, cream int, 6 seat, 20" wheels). 20K for and extra 350 horsepower over the LR seems reasonable. Not sure if you can do that on any other vehicle.
