In my 30 years of driving, I always turn off the AC compressor about 1-2 miles from home and let the fan continue running to dry out the vents. I've never had any smell issues in any car.

I think the stock headlights on my Y (non-matrix) are plenty bright for me.

This is how all my previous cars have acted. If doors are locked (i.e., security system active) any door opening sets off the alarm.

I've also found the hatch light to be plenty bright for me. The placement of the light is actually a really good spot as the hatch light in all my other cars was always inside the cargo area and would get obstructed by stuff.

If the person exiting the car is in the front seat, you don't need to unlock the doors. The passenger can just open the door anyway.

I live in SF bay area and I just tinted the two front side windows at 20% to cosmetically match the rest of the car. Since the Y is an "suv" the rear windows are pre-tinted at the factory, just like all other SUVs.

The Y's 3rd row is an afterthought, and not designed for anyone larger than small children. If you look at the size of the Y, it's impossible to put in a large 3rd row.

Same for me. For many many years my cars had zero of these assistive features. The only feature I think is truly necessary is the rear view cams, because the rear window is so tiny. But this is an issue with many modern cars.

This has never happened for me. I think as long as your phone key is on you, sentry should save any recordings when you are near the car.
