Congrats on the car! It’s looks great! Wanted to clarify, judging by the VIN given this would be a 2021 and not a 2022. Correct? Majority of the 2021 deliveries came with wireless charging and USB-C ports. It’s the recent deliveries with 2922 VINs that don’t have them due to supply chain shortages

When I got VIN’d in September, I called them the same day and set a delivery appointment. I know people usually wait for emails or calls but if you call them and tell them you received a VIN and need to make a delivery appointment, they usually help you set one up.

That’s a great quote! I live in Chicago and State Farm quoted me $300 for the same configuration but for only the MYP.

While production was halted for the MYP, the production for the MYLRs continued through the month of October. That might be a reason why the MYLR received 22 VINs before your MYP.

If you go on the MYLR VIN thread, you can see that they’ve always had different VINs than the MYPs. I know this because I initially considered a MYLR myself and have a few friends that own one as well. I opted for the performance and never looked back.

That someone who received a 2022 VIN today was for a MYLR. 2022 VINs for MYP’s aren’t guaranteed

I know a few people that ordered MYLRs last year which delivered in October with 2020 VINs. At this point, anything’s possible!

Congrats on the car! Looks great. I had a paint chip on drivers side door and they just used touch up paint. My SA used more than needed and it stands out. They might do the same to yours. Thought I’d give you a heads up

Checked earlier today for any updates and my EDD was pushed back from 9/23-9/30 to 10/3-10/23. Just refreshed the page and I received a VIN. Updated EDD is now 9/17-9/20. Haven’t received any calls, emails or text for VIN assignment and waiting for a call to schedule delivery
