    Tesla app mist functies

My app all of a sudden was missing controls and remote start and such things too. My solution was to sit in the car turn on Bluetooth on my phone set up the phone as a phone key (this made the controls reappear) turn off Bluetooth (optional, but I don't like having it on)

Hesitation from a standstill under moderate acceleration

Feels OK so far. No more hesitation.

Hesitation from a standstill under moderate acceleration

I'm thinking it's a bug: It thinks there's an obstacle and impedes your acceleration even when there's none. If there is no obstacle, why impede your acceleration?

    loud squeaking or whining noise.

Didn't get it checked out yet, sorry!

Hesitation from a standstill under moderate acceleration

I've turned it off and I'm observing it for a few weeks.

Hesitation from a standstill under moderate acceleration

I have this too. When I pull away from a stoplight sometimes the car will hesitate for approximately one second, accelerating very poorly, before it kicks in properly. This is my first and so far only Tesla so I don't have any terms of comparison.

    loud squeaking or whining noise.

I think it's the parking brake. It sounds exactly like the sample Tesla provides, but there's an additional loud squeak at the end. I'm worried that this extra squeak is not normal and requires repair.

    loud squeaking or whining noise.

My 2021 M3 SR makes the exact same noise: http://gabrielschulhof.github.io/Drive.to.park.m4a. I tried making an appointment at the SC but they wanted $265 just to diagnose the issue, even though the car is still under warranty ☹️

Time zone not autoadjusting, manual adjustme t no longer possible

I am on a roadtrip, and the time zone is not auto-adjusting. I tried the trick where you triple-tap the time, abd the one where you tap-and-hold for 5 seconds on the time, but in both cases my tap went "through" the clock and onto the map below. I tried turning on my phone' wifi hotspot and...

    Supercharger slowing down

Hey all! I hooked up my Model 3 to a supercharger and it went great at, like, 76kW, but then it grafually slowed down to 30. This is deceptive because it takes way longer to charge than advertised. Why is that?

Drawing 12A but charging only 1mph

Oh no, I found it like this in the morning. It was charging all night and I expected it to be long finished, but instead it was limping along at 1 mph. That's concerning because, if I can't rely on my own charger, my only option is to supercharge the whole time, qhich will dwgrade the battery...

Drawing 12A but charging only 1mph

Hey, all! I don't get it. My 12A/110V plain old wall socket charger normally charges at 5 - 6 mph. This morning I caught it going at 1 mph. What's going on?

Range Loss Over Time, What Can Be Expected, Efficiency, How to Maintain Battery Health

OK. I see. So, if the car is able to properly sleep, and it's not on a charger, then I should hear this sound almost every time I open the door, right? Is there a list of things I can check that prevent the car from sleeping?

Range Loss Over Time, What Can Be Expected, Efficiency, How to Maintain Battery Health

I don't think Sentry mode is on. At least the phone app shows it to be off. Does it matter that I leave the windows cracked and the trunk open?

Range Loss Over Time, What Can Be Expected, Efficiency, How to Maintain Battery Health

Is it normal for a Model 3 SR+ with less than 7540 miles to lose 4% battery overnight when not charging?

Range Loss Over Time, What Can Be Expected, Efficiency, How to Maintain Battery Health

How come when I charge my car at home using the basic 110V charger it chooses to lower the draw from the max 12 A to 9 A? I was only getting 3 mi/h of charge and it was drawing 9 A. I cranked it back to 12 A. Still, I don't get why it went down to 9 A on it's own.

    2-piece Roof Sunshade

How come my 110V home charger sometimes switches down from 12 A to 9 A? I plug it in and it doesn't draw the full 12 A as it once did. I have to manually crank it back up to 12 A. Does anyone know why that is?

Range Loss Over Time, What Can Be Expected, Efficiency, How to Maintain Battery Health

Thank you for your answer! So, is the loss of range just a calibration error? I guess that means the battery hasn't actually lost capacity, but the car is refusing to exploit that capacity, because it's (mistakenly?) calculated that the capacity is lower than it really is, right? How do I allow...

Range Loss Over Time, What Can Be Expected, Efficiency, How to Maintain Battery Health

Hey, all! I tried to make heads or tails of all the discussion regarding battery degradation, but I think I need a helping hand. I live in Southern California. I have a Tesla Model 3 Standard Range I bought at the end of September 2021. It is now May 2022. I charged it using the ~1kW wall...

    Running the fan

Hey all! I'm not a fan of the "new car smell" so I would like to run the fan while the car is charging in the garage. So I turn off the A/C, set the climate control to on, the fan to 4, the windows to "Vent" and the temperature to low. Perfect! ... except as soon as I exit the car, some motor...
