My delivery isn't until 23/12.... but my bank (EBS) only allows max €5k/day transfers so have had to start making payments early to pay if off in time for delivery...... so emailed IE Delivery team and got their bank details to start making daily payments onto my account. You quote your RN...

I think it depends which shipment your in...... my only option was 23-24 Dec as car not arriving till that week so went earliest on 23rd of course ;)

Congrats - lucky you checked when you did because all gone now! I managed to get a cancellation that was due for delivery 20-24 December (assume I'll be roughly the same now).... so based on that think we are on GRAND DAHLIA or PARADISE ACE.... there are other Ireland peeps with earlier...

That is actually mad..... supercharger in Tipp..... but none in Dublin now that you think about it! EDIT - and im north dublin so wont be going to the Sandyford one when it does open!

Yeah they seem to be getting a lot of Dec-2021 cancellations from people who want a 221 reg plate instead (I can see why they didn't want to bring in loads of cars in December now) So still hope for people waiting! Don't think people cancelling realise when they say Feb its more than likely...

Ah brilliant delighted for you 😀 As much as we've complained...... The Ireland team are very good at managing their part, it's just the Tesla global supply chain that is really the issue and that caused this unforeseen shortage of cars for Ireland 🤣 Fingers crossed there's a few more...

Yep just sums how little they care really.... couldn't even be bothered spending the time to come up with a half-ass excuse for us :rolleyes: Well they've lost €700 sales (~80% profit as MIC too) of the accessories I'm returning.... so that counteracts the profit benefit of allocating my 1 car...

Oh I asked about this too...... and got told Q4-2021 and Q1-2022 cars to Ireland are the exact same and no difference in the motor, but also told that the Q1-2022 are definitely the 6.1 spec so don't know how that works :rolleyes: EDIT: No doubt its more BS to just shut us up from complaining...

Looks like most of Ireland peeps on here who received delivery texts yesterday had VINs in source code already for the last ~2 weeks, with the odd exception.... the rest of us didnt have source code VINs so obviously dont have a car to deliver for us. And from what they told me yesterday...

This is for Ireland not UK 👍 We only get one shipment per quarter and looks like all the delivery texts for that shipment have already been done 🙈

Yep think thats the end - I got this at 3pm from Ireland Delivery team - "Currently we are still in the process of matching the final vehicles to orders." so I'd say they are all done now for December deliveries! :oops:

I've booked with Carra (Telsa charger recommended installer) for next week, but afraid they are Dublin area.... Guessing the rest of us who weren't allocated previously are still waiting to be matched? @dave8089 @AGalwayTech @BevyBoy @Ambergold @Noel_a @Onearmedbandit

Yes was feeling confident, until I messaged them this morning and they had absolutely no info whatsoever - just got the same responses I got 3-4 weeks ago! "Order not matched yet", "Are you still looking for a car asap or 2022?", and "delivery expected in December"..... don't feel confident at...

Yeah that fits in with what I was told last week too - that the next shipment arriving in Ireland on 08/12..... plus few days to prep etc. would be 10/12-15/12 deliveries 🤞 They said they would have more info and VINs allocated etc. 3 weeks before 08/12 which is this week (17/11), so we should...

The lack of communication is only the start of the issues...... It's the inconsistency of the "updates" week to week, very optimistic estimate delivery dates (should have my car already as was told mid-Nov at ordering and don't even have a VIN yet), won't commit to delivery in December because...

Looking back at this now, there was more chance of winning the lotto than getting that call 😂 You'll notice from this thread that for Ireland there is zero communication until they schedule your deliver, it doesn't work like other countries for some reason.... so reached out them again once...
