I didn't ask, but right after the VIN showed up I got a text message with a link that took me to a website where I could pick a delivery appointment at the Renton SC. I was not given a choice between home delivery or picking up at the SC. A neighbor just took delivery of a MYP via home...

Well, well, well...the chaos monkey has smiled upon me and just delivered a VIN (NF470), EDD has narrowed to Feb 2 - Feb 8.

Looks like the end of June orders with our configuration are getting VINs, so I'd guess we are about a month from getting ours. The wait is painful, but it will be worth it. :cool:

I don't know which is worse, an EDD that keeps shifting or one that is way out in the future that never moves like mine. It will be worth the wait...I keep telling myself that. :cool:

I totally understand your frustration, Tesla's sales model is very unorthodox to say the least. This forum has helped me realize that I'm not the only one being treated so poorly, it is just the way it is. I want the MS LR so much that I'm willing to tolerate having to wait, no matter how long...

Looks like a bunch of the MS LR orders on the national thread had their EDDs slip to EOQ1 last night, anyone on this thread have a new EDD or get a VIN?

Exact config as mine, my EDD has been the same since it jumped to where it is now, right after the new year. If you get yours, I'll take that as a positive sign that mine is coming soon!

Saw someone sitting in a brand new black MS parked near Grocery Outlet in Maple Valley, temporary plates, was that anyone on this thread that just got their car? I almost stopped to say hello, but didn't want to be a creeper.

It cleans okay, definitely not perfect, especially when your car is coated with the sticky antifreeze gunk they apply to the roads during the winter. You'll still need to do a hand wash if your car is super dirty. The no-touch car wash is a good first step to get all of the large particles off.

Same config except for 19s and my order date and EDD are very close to yours. I'm hoping it jumps to January too!

No Touch Car Wash near Safeway in Covington is the only place I take my cars.

UGH! This morning my EDD shifted from Dec 23 - Dec 31 to Mar 18 - Apr 15. Hopefully this is the normal shift that happens right before the range tightens and a VIN drops, not getting my hopes up though. Happy to see that some of you are getting VINs!

I wasn't offered the option of home delivery due to where I live, but I've read on others' posts that they were able to convert home delivery to their preferred SC, as long as the car hasn't left Fremont yet. I wouldn't want home delivery either, definitely want the chance to inspect the car...

I used www.cascadeshield.com for tint on my previous car, he's tinted my brother-in-law's MYP and M3, did a great job. He comes to your location of choice, which is a huge convenience. He also does wraps although I've never used him for that, he comes highly recommended. The web site has pricing...
