Ya, I have a life away from the internet. You should try it some time. No need to reinvent the wheel. Do it like it's been done for over a century by every other car manufacturer - due diligence = stable pricing. Doesn't get more basic. You think the constant price changes is good for Tesla...

😂 😂 😂 😂 just keep running away from reality and inject 'emotion' into your responses to hide the fact that fanbois are going to be fanbois. You must have a poster of MusK on your bedroom ceiling. "Offer nothing", "whinging". What have you offered? Nothing.

Stiffer. Not too much but it definitely didn't help the comfort. Handles better though. Waiting for sway bars to arrive. Gonna be a fun summer!

MYP with staggered setup... do you LEFT/RIGHT rotate?

To get the 'most' out of a set of tires you should swap them left to right. The rears get camber wear so to keep them even they should be swapped. I personally wouldn't go through the trouble on stock suspension but I would and have with coilovers etc..

The very first sentence answered your question. Go back and read it. If you can't comprehend perfect english that's on you. Oh please. Emotional? Not 1 emotional word in any of my posts. The fact that you've even brought that up is a perfect example of someone not being able to have an educated...

They should have priced their cars accordingly from the get go. They're not the first ones to be burned by market changes. No other manufacturer I can think of has gone out and knowingly screwed their current customers to recoup their losses or retain market share. They took the short term hit...

Elon will pay attention when ALL other current manufacturers plus the plethora of new ones get to the same production levels and all the current owners he just screwed never buy one again. The worst thing any business can do is screw their current clientele. They are the easiest to retain and...

The Big 3 spent $15 million on lobbying last year. The US can't function without them (2008 bailout is proof of this). The legacy companies can have any law or policy written or re-written any time they choose. If a different model suits them they will have the laws changed. Sure, it's a much...

What is stopping the legacy guys from changing their business models? Any company that has been around as long as they have (Ford est. 1901) is because of their ability to do just that. Japanese manufacturers of all types have proven time & again that while they may not be the greatest...

Exactly! The EV market is just getting started. Who knows where it's going to go. I'm just so tired of the blind eye to Tesla's quality issues and trying to compare them to companies that have been around more than a century. Once Toyota's CEO is ousted for his Neanderthal perspective on EV's...

Tesla produced less than a million cars in 2021. Ford produced 4 million, GM 6 million, Toyota 10 million, VW 8 million etc... And all those I just listed have the capability to produce 10 million every year without fail. This chart is clickbait Faux News propaganda at best. Tesla isn't in the...

All these sheople defending the price reductions have no clue how this works. VEHICLES have always been a depreciating asset. It's not a shirt or a pair of jeans. It's also not a house. It's a car. We know the moment we drive off the lot the vehicle is worth less than it was 5 minutes before...

Model Y Not Worth the Price Now [Nov 2022]

And just like Tesla has reduced their price due to market pressure so will the big 3. If they don't they'll go the way of the Dodo bird. And the likelihood of that happening is slim and none. The big 3 have more money and influence than Tesla could ever imagine. The 2008 bailout is proof...

Model Y Not Worth the Price Now [Nov 2022]

That's some backwards logic right there. Why can't any 1 of the Big 3 or even better all of them get together and put in a charging system? What's stopping them? Money? No. Scalability? No. Access to government policy? No. Just because Tesla's stock was valuated at a certain price has zero to do...

Anyone that would join this forum without owning a Tesla AND then proceeds to comment on one is definitely a troll. Is Tesla Y better than other all electric SUVs?

Where the hell did they get the idea that Tesla is a "luxury" brand. LOL! The model 3 & Y are nowhere in the same galaxy as the term "luxury". Compare the 3 or the Y to any of the competitors (Lexus, Benz, Porsche, BMW etc...) at the same price point and anyone will be able to see that it's no...

Is Tesla Y better than other all electric SUVs?

I can say as much as I dislike my Y in terms of build quality and lack of features (Carplay, Sirius, ambient lighting etc..) I cannot find a vehicle that can match the driving experience, performance & cargo capacity. I have researched every EV competitor and while some can compete in 2...

Going crazy about Performance brakes? [Tesla using caliper covers on rear brakes of Y performance after supplier switch]

A racetrack does not compare in any way shape or form to the street in terms of braking. Racecars brakes are typically adjustable, pads are made from different materials and the rotors are both larger & better vented. Just because it is an EV doesn't negate the need for rear brakes. If the front...

The 45 profile is 0.66" taller than stock (255/45/19) which throws the speedo off by -4.6%. The standard accepted speedo error is 3% or less. I'd suggest you use a 40 profile. That's within 0.15" (-1.1%).

Again, just because you chose something different does not negate the fact that leather is more expensive for a reason. It is stronger & more breathable than vinyl. Vinyl is standard and leather is an upgrade for a reason.

Just because 'you' don't value leather over vinyl doesn't make it less valuable or a lesser material. Leather is better than vinyl. It's a fact. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Audio engineers like Burmeister that ONLY deal with the highest end vehicles - Bugatti for example - do a better job than any mass market...

The Y in any form cannot compete with those SUV's in any category other than performance. Their fit, finish, options and overall build quality is light years ahead. The Y can compete with their base models as well as the base RDX & Q5. It's not opinion or subjective. It's fact. Look at every...

Air Suspension or Coilovers? That is the Question…

I can't say I've had the same experience. Winter or summer, I've not had a leak. And when I mentioned trucks I meant big rigs like Peterbuilt etc.. Quality parts and an experienced installer should equal a no maintenance setup. Check out my car club's page for many many examples -...

Air Suspension or Coilovers? That is the Question…

I've just installed H&R lowering springs on my Y. It's only my daily driver so I want to keep it simple. I have an E30 on air for Sunday drives and a fox Mustang on coilovers. If my Y was my only vehicle I'd go air. The adjustability, comfort and cool factor make it my favorite.

Air Suspension or Coilovers? That is the Question…

Air suspension is very reliable IF installed correctly. Remember that every luxury car manufacturer has air suspension standard or as an option and every tractor trailer on the road uses air in their suspension and/or brake system. I've had lowering springs, coilovers and air suspension on many...

    Ioniq 5 vs Model Y

It's the same issue on every car forum. Some people take any critique of their decision personally so they respond irrationally. Many people think Tesla is the be all end all of car manufacturers. Factually this couldn't be further from the truth. They are pioneers in the EV realm without...
