    Phantom Braking 2020 MS

Also very good points. The wipers and the lights are also bad. There’s something “special” that triggers me about brakes slamming on with me doing anything though.

    Phantom Braking 2020 MS

Came to this thread because I was curious if all the phantom braking issues that plague the M3 and MY also were present on the S. I guess so. I have ranted about it before, so I won't here, but something in the OP jumped out at me. More specifically, the insanity of it jumped out at me: If it...

    Vendor Official Tessie app talk

Related to my request about shortcut integration for at least the one-time automation… maybe consider using he long press action on the Tessie icon for some quick actions. When apps implement these long press menus for quick actions I find it super useful.

    Vendor Official Tessie app talk

Right... that's been the gap for me for a while. I have a shortcut setup to create a reminder for X time, with a link (url placed in the reminder) to run the shortcut for starting climate. So it's a little janky but kinda works.

    Vendor Official Tessie app talk

Just exploring the automation feature now and it's great! I was wondering if it could be exposed to iOS Shortcuts too? So, what I'm trying to get is a shortcut button that let's me "start climate control in X min, or at X time" in prep for my ad-hoc departures on any given day. Thanks!

    “Dumb” cruise control?

Completely fair point, and I don't know the answer to that. I think the removal of radar was a big mistake, and isn't something I really understand.

    “Dumb” cruise control?

I think the title of the thread is on point - an option for a simple "dumb," speed-based cruise control would be a good addition. This is not uncommon with other manufacturers. There's traditional cruise control, then there is a user-selectable adaptive cruise control with many other vehicles...

    “Dumb” cruise control?

I've filed a complaint with NHTSA ... not that it will do any good, but I guess it can't hurt. I've got 500 miles on my 2022 M3LR and the number of times TACC (not autopilot) has just decided to brake for no reason is absurd. My kids even comment on it. This is on divided highways, and on 2-way...

    Cruise Control

Couldn't agree more with the comments TACC (not even autopilot) is absurd in this vehicle. 2022 Model 3 LR. Just took delivery 2 weeks ago and it is nearly unusable and 100% unsafe. I love the car, but TACC (and its role in autopilot I presume) is at best very annoying and unreliable, and at...
