I ordered from store with my SA. But honestly they only reach out to you when car is ready. Tesla will auto generate and update if any changes. Such as VIN assigned and schedule delivery tasks. When I needed to communicate I just emailed store and got a call back each time within 24 hours.

Paint protection film. Basically it’s like a screen protector for your car. Protect from chips, scratches and dings. My white car doesn’t have it, so have scratches, marks, etc on mirrors and bumper from driving. My other gray car has dots of missing paint on hood and scratches.

Congrats. I got a text & Email from Tesla to schedule delivery about a week or so after VIN. And then got a text from SA when car will be delivered to store. Wait for scheduling email/Text from Tesla.

Thanks Samori01. I should have put a disclaimer. I remember looking at April and May forum in October and saw some were waiting for 6 months still. I think for those who still haven’t past EDD, be patient and use other forums to gauge how close they are to getting VIN.

Something I observed is those orders with 19 inches are getting VINs sooner than those who ordered 20 inch wheels. I also noticed this in the Teslike Model Y tracker. My OD is 8/3 (White/Black/20s), but hopefully I get VIN since EDD window starts in a week.
