I have had to reschedule delivery 4 times now. Delivery date is now 12/5. Was 11/28,12/1,12/3. Seems like there’s not trucks available to bring me the car to Tampa location

I can’t lol. I asked if I could but I was told its not sitting at a service center it’s sitting at the area where the trains drop them off for 3rd party trucks to pickup.

Scheduled delivery date has moved 3 times from 11/28 to 12/1 to now 12/3. I called Tesla and apparently my car is just sitting at the hub in Birmingham Alabama without a truck picking it up yet. Very Frustrating

Called the dealership today and the truck with my MYP is suppose to arrive on 11/25 next week. Guess I’ll take delivery the following morning

EDD updated from 11/26-11/30 to 11/23-11/29 today. Hopefully I can drive it thanksgiving to go see family.

14 day window usually means vin is coming in about a week. That’s what happened to me.

Tried adding my vin to my insurance today but it says invalid vin. I guess it’s still too fresh

Yes hope is alive and well. Just got off the phone with Tesla and there’s a train that brings the cars to the east coast to Birmingha,AL. That takes about 3 weeks then the trucks load them up and drive throughout the east coast to deliver.

Finally received my 2022 VIN a few minutes ago. For the new comers who are still seeing ambiguous answers regarding of how you’ll know if you have vin. This is what I received to my phone. I’m going to accept the tesla vision and proceed with setting up financing.

We could make a 20k profit by ordering another MYP 🤣

Nope good luck though. The wait is averaging 7-9 weeks for most now. I’m on week 7 now with a shortened EDD. Looks like it’s going to take 9 weeks for me

My EDD was 10/30-11/24, went to 11/15-12/12, now it’s 11/20-12/3 hopefully I can get it before thanksgiving

My SA said my car is going to be built sometime next week too and for me to expect a vin. My EDD is 11/15-12-12

I recently contacted my SA through email earlier this week but someone else at the store called me out the blue. Totally wasn’t expecting that call.

Looks like the mid November rain of VINs is actually going to happen.

My local Tesla store called me so it was only a number to that specific store and answered every question I had. They were able to look at a queue and told me my car is scheduled to be built next week.

@Viv1984 Tesla just called me this morning. I had some questions for them so here’s my info. My car is scheduled to get built next since that’s where they saw me in line. So I should be expecting a VIN end of next week. After that it’ll take about 2 weeks to get to Florida and I can schedule for...

Welcome aboard. Lots of us saw a push back this weekend. I ordered 9/16 and now EDD is 11/15-12/12. Was 10/30-11/19

Wow that sucks. The SA in the store definitely up sold us on the MYP for faster delivery but I have seen people with early October ODs get Vin numbers this week on on Reddit and some in here. I’m not sure how they choose who gets their car but it’s not organized from a consumers point of view.

ODD 9/16 MYP black/black no tow no fsd EDD 10-4…10-24 Then switched to 10-30…11-19 Now this morning it switched too 11-15…12-12 Was told I would have my Model Y Performance in 6 weeks. Now it looks like it’ll be longer than 8 weeks just for a September order date. I’m in Tampa Florida.
