Reporting in after a week of use. Today, it started failing reaching the auth server for token refresh. Turns out when I rebooted my Intel NUC yesterday my VPN auto started. So it looks like the Tesla API remains accessible when on VPN until a token refresh is attempted to the Auth server… I...

It now works with the VPN off… I’ll have to dig a bit more on how to manage networks so I can enable it.

I think you read me the wrong way around. The issue is not Tesla blocking me but my container being unable to communicate with the outside world beyond my LAN… I will shut down my VPN to make sure it is the root cause.

Actually, I ran some tests in the instance and it can only access the local network. My x86 Ubuntu host is permanently connected to a VPN which may be why. If anyone has any experience with such a config, I’m all ears. Thank you.

I actually just pulled the logs from teslamate and I get: [error] POST https://auth.tesla.com/oauth2/v3/token -> error: "timeout" (60084.786 ms) So looks like something else, like perhaps a networking issue.

Finally! OD Sept 28th Montreal, Saint-Bruno original EDD March 2022 took delivery today Mar 5 but could have been earlier this week as I was out of country. Must have been 4 other RWD delivered while we were there. Its awesome!

It’s just because of the increased Canadian delivery activity since new year. Go back to October-Dec and you’ll see mostly americans posting updates and getting cars… I suspect the Canadian activity will die down once we reach November OD as the price increase plus the loss of tax credit...

Last week got my VIN and tentative date set during March break (QC). So I called yesterday to ask if they had a better estimate as I'm travelling that week and need to coordinate the pickup. They couldn't yet commit to a definate date but based on the transit info estimated the truck to be there...

Also keep in mind there were practically no SR+/RWD sent to Canada last quarter after the switch to LFP… they had a lot of catching up to do. Was told today mine is on a truck and expected in Saint-Bruno Friday 😊 OD Sept 28.

During the Tesla webex we were invited to, the speaker told us we did not need to upload proof and only have to bring it at the time of pickup. This is in Quebec though.

Any 174-175xxx VINs get their cars yet? Got the VIN and tentative delivery dates earlier this week and am wondering if it’s in transit or still being built… EDD is holding on Mar 5th, but they said they’d call me and confirm once it was firm.

Mine is in my account too with a delivery on March 5th… so don’t know what it means. Fingers crossed it works out for you tomorrow!

In my case (Quebec), my account shows « please pay remaining balance prior to delivery » and has all the info for wire transfer… I’ll talk to SA tomorrow to get it sorted.

Woohoo, just got an email from Tesla requesting final payment. Went in account accepted acceleration update and now have a narrowed EDD of Feb 25th - Mar 3. Next step will be Vision agreement and scheduling delivery? I plan to bring a bank draft on pickup day.

Question for those in Quebec: will Tesla accept to do a “vente par accommodation” if I have another dealer interested in buying my trade-in? In Quebec that is the only way you can save the sales tax on the trade in value. Teslas’ buy back offer is well below that of the other dealer.

Exactly. When I saw that video, I immediately doubted how good it’d be for us in cold. If it can’t discharge bellow -20, how is it going to power up the car? Unless they figured a way to keep it above -10 (the charging limit) by cycling the charge interval belllow -10 to keep the pack warm. But...
