Thank you to all that have replied - so helpful. The ‘rapid chargers’ (50kw) come with three tethered plugs - if I were to opt for the type 2, then would that mean it *definitely* providing an AC charge?

I’m fortunate to have a variety of chargers nearby. I live in central London and have a three week old M3LR. I don’t want to f$ck up my battery. My question is, are ‘rapid chargers’ (ESB 50kwh) chargers supplying a DC charge and therefore to be used sparingly?

I’m heading up that way this weekend - does anyone think they’ll be useable?

I collected my LR yesterday and the AB upgrade isn’t showing in the app (or on the online account either).

Collected the M3LR this morning. I think I was the second customer at Thorpe Park. Aside from a chip and small scratch on the rear bumper, all seems good. Checklist was really helpful to slow down the giddiness…

As said above, they send the paperwork out in seven days. However, if you ask them, then they'll send an email version of the certificate (within minutes).

I just sorted my policy with Peugot - it was a quarter of the price of the best quote on the comparison sites (17 years ncb before you ask). They don't charge extra for tints or acceleration boost either. Let the good times roll.

BMW 330e - first foray into electric power train. Rapidly came to the realisation (as do most PHEV owners) that you get all the negatives of ICE and very limited advantages of EVs. I suppose fate (and an inattentive fellow road user...) decided it was time to make the leap to a 'full' EV.

Ah, thanks for clarifying. Seems my VIN has now appeared in my source code so it seems I may be in with a chance for a December collection (despite ordering on the 2nd of November...)

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I haven’t seen anyone post a collection date past 15th of December? Perhaps I’m being optimistic, but I think we’re going to see a flurry of activity over the next week or so.
