POLL: vibration felt when slightly accelerating refresh Mode S Plaid or LR

When you say “regular s” you must mean pre refresh, my 21 long range s refresh absolutely includes the free vibration/growl option that Tesla thought a $100k car should have.

"Refreshed" Model S model VIBRATION tracking and information thread!!!

What offset did you get? Can you share brand and type of wheel, also tire size brand as well as brake info? I’m ready to give this a try. Losing weight on the unsprung/rotational mass is good, extra bonus if it helps enough make me forget about the vibration.

"Refreshed" Model S model VIBRATION tracking and information thread!!!

When new, it’s most easily reproduced for me when on the highway heading up hill, accelerating from 68 through the 70s . Don’t to it though, once you recognize it, you can’t un—recognize it.

POLL: vibration felt when slightly accelerating refresh Mode S Plaid or LR

Doesn’t only happen at the low speeds 38-45, In fact for me it’s most intense from 69-78 mph. It was occurring from day one so, my guess is because it is only under specific amount of acceleration for most it takes 1000 Milesish to get used to the car and notice it. Agree with the resonance...

POLL: vibration felt when slightly accelerating refresh Mode S Plaid or LR

I don't think you do, It's with lighter foot on accelerator and starts at like 38MPH - 85ish, very easy to replicate if driving at highway speed up a long steep uphill climb, the extra pressure it takes to maintain highway speed on the uphill sticks you squarely in the vibration zone. If you...

POLL: vibration felt when slightly accelerating refresh Mode S Plaid or LR

Has anyone with refresh MS LR or Plaid had the vibration fixed or seen a service bulletin yet? I really want to schedule a third service appointment for it but since the SC took 0 action the first two times, feels like until there is a service bulletin it will be an exercise of futility.

"Refreshed" Model S model VIBRATION tracking and information thread!!!

It’s not that, I have refreshed LR, vin MF4334xx same exact problem, vibration under light acceleration 100% repeatable, noticed since day one took into service for it twice, they said it was normal, it’s not. Had M3D and MYP prior and they never had this vibration. The service center let me...

POLL: vibration felt when slightly accelerating refresh Mode S Plaid or LR

Report it where? I have taken to SC twice, but want to make sure I report it wherever possible. This needs to be fixed. Thanks!

Poll: 3x - 4x mph Refreshed Model S (LR and Plaid) Vibration issue build / VIN ranges

2021 Model S Long Range vin last 6 MF4334xx, MFG date 06/21. 2021.44.6 Noticed the vibration leaving the Tesla Dealer upon delivery. 2 service appoints both times they claim vibration is normal. Hard to believe a 100k vehicle would be engineered to have vibration under acceleration as a...

Agree! I noticed it on drive home from delivery as well, 25 miles on it.

POLL: vibration felt when slightly accelerating refresh Mode S Plaid or LR

Experiencing the same thing since day one. Notice it the most when using about 1/8th at accelerator 68 mph. Sounds like a groan and difficult to tell if it’s from the front or rear. Have second service appointment for it coming up the first time they said it was normal. I’ve had 3 and Y and...
