That may be why yours is working. My weight is designed for the right side and it detects it and shuts off FSD, just for shits and giggles I macgyvered mine with zip ties to the left side and it seemed to work.

FINALLY!!! After receiving a vin 16 days ago we were finally able to schedule our pickup date. This Saturday!! All of you waiting on the charge port ecu, they are coming in and the cars are finally being delivered!

It means nothing until you receive a vin, we’ve been in or close to several 2 week windows only to get bumped a few months more out.

When we talked to an SA at our pickup location in Cleveland, Ohio a few weeks ago, he said they didn’t expect any M3RW for a few months. So he must have known there was going to be some pause in MFG, our EDD is July/Aug now (OD SEPT).

We OD Sept 16, current EDD June/July 😡 We asked at pickup location, they said they aren’t receiving rear wheel drive 3’s and don’t expect any until closer to summer.

Did you see the latest report from CR about Tesla? I’m surprised you’d want to own one after reading it… one of the least reliable cars on the road today!

Consumer Reports is as bad as CNN, I don’t believe a word from either one. The reports that CR puts out are bought and paid for, they are not an honest review.

Maybe that’s why I’ve never heard from one, they are busy with vips. We’ve not received a single text/call/email from anyone, others say their SA texts them all the time. Maybe we don’t have one??

We haven’t been assigned a vin yet when we called to delay, but from what others have said if you do have a vin it will be assigned to someone else and you will receive a new one.

Exactly my thought, if you take delivery in December it would be like throwing $7,500 in the trash. But for the Point Of Sale, right now they are saying that wouldn’t happen until 2023, for 2022 you’d get it back when filing your 2022 taxes.

Yes, just call the 800# on the website, they have no problem putting your order on hold till next year. We just called yesterday, tell them you’re not ready for delivery.

Ordered SR+ (blue/black/aero) 9/14 Just called to delay delivery until next year, our current EDD is 12/19-12/31 (no vin yet). It would be stupid to take delivery the last 2 weeks of the year and miss out on an EV credit if one is passed.
