You only can find your VIN in the source code after you accept Tesla Vision, that was what happened to me last nite. This morning I got the delivery appt, it all happens very fast.

It's finally here, scheduled delivery on the 26th morning....I Will update once got the car.

Yeah, I can see it from the source code now, but not on the app or the account page.

The date range is shortened, and the wording is also changed. Hope it is a good sign.

Okay, app showing Tesla is making changes, log in and accept delivery. Then it disappeared, went back to the edd, but is able to find VIN in source code.

Nope, I have a feeling that it won't come before the new year.

Rumour says it will come sometime in Feb.

Updates: As expected, EDD was pushed out to Dec 26-Dec 31 this morning. No "VIN". I got a text last Friday when the EDD changed back to Dec, saying that the car "might" arrive this week. Now it's Wednesday, and nothing happens. I feel that I can't pick it up before the end of 2021. As always, no...

Don't trust the EDD until you got the VIN...Mine just jumped back to Dec last Friday.

That's what I think. I thought I would get the VIN while the car is in production, but according to the text I received the other day, they won't send/assign me the VIN until it is near/arrived at the delivery center. I checked the source code for a VIN a few times, but no luck.

There would be a default push out period for different group of orders based on location, config etc.

Seems they are making base builds now.

My original EDD was mid-Nov when I ordered.....It's already a month passed.

Updates: EDD moved back to Dec 21-Dec 30 this morning. Still no VIN, I am not positive about this, it might be pushed out again.

I also had the base build. Just the numbers show that for whatever reason they are not producing enough base build cars, that’s it.

I was thinking my second last push out to the end of Dec was the end of waiting. Then to Jan, don't think they are doing that at least for my build.

I am checking the delivery tracking sheet, and only look for the BASE model (white on black, 19 wheels, no tow or whatsoever), and there was no VIN assigned since Nov 22.

Yeah, other than MYP, I saw a lot of MYLR deliveries with at least one addon, so I think you will get yours soon.

I still believe the more add-ons in your order, you get it faster. Except for the 7 seater option, which takes forever.

My SA is from the delivery center I believe? She works at the showroom/pick-up location. I ordered in the showroom after my test drive, she helped me place the order and said it might be faster to get delivery if she places the order for me...But look at where I am right now...LOL

Good for you! My SA basically knows nothing about their production plan! Last time they told me that they are expecting a batch of deliveries in the second half of Dec, and mine should be one of them. And now I am pushed out to Jan.

Not sure about that. I live in Vancouver, and I see some Toronto friends already got theirs who ordered way after me.

Some say that they are short of Gemini wheels, not sure if it is still the case anymore.
