Thank you. I called Tesla and they said it was a bug they were aware of with this update, but it's fixed in the next update. Then they went online to the car and sorted it. I had tried all sorts of reboots. Tesla were great about this, even calling me back to check it was OK.

So, at 7:35 UK time this morning, my car said 2021.40.6 was available and it would take 25 mins. I started it as I didn't need the M3P still 8:40. At 8:40 the screen on the phone app showed "Software update... Downloading 2021.40.6 (100%)" And the car is similar, as in the software screen...

I had my red M3P done by Reep in Leicester for about £3200 including g-tecniq ceramic coating, paint correction and window tinting. Amazing work. You can find them on Google. This was in July 2021.

I’ve had this error in the UK randomly for the last few days. Thought it was the car. Reconnected wifi but then it has issue randomly at my office too. Tesla server down explains it.
