Charging Interrupted - Tesla or Podpoint Problem?

I had a similar problem with interrupted charges on PodPoint chargers a few weeks ago - I posted about it on here in a new thread, but it got moved to a general thread on PodPoint issues - see Charging problems using Podpoint chargers - but that thread is mainly to do with people not...

    LB71 Crew

I saw a fellow LB71 on the A3 last Wednesday near Portsmouth. We were both behind a slow ICE hogging the Tesla lane for a while - I pulled over to do the 70 mph limit after passing - I wasn't sure about speed cameras on this road - the other LB71 was in my distant view shortly after!

    Charging problems using Podpoint chargers

I have been using the 22kW PodPoint chargers at my workplace since I got the M3LR last December as my main charging method unless I am travelling when I have used the SuperChargers. I activate the charge via the PodPoint app within 15 minutes of connecting but started having problems yesterday...

    European Road trip (Feb 2022)

I tried adding a secondary card on my Tesla account, but it only accepts one and did not save the previous card details. Tesla charge in the local currency of the charger, so use a card that has no foreign exchange fees.

    European Road trip (Feb 2022)

I planned the trip using ABRP and stuck to the SuperChargers, which were well positioned along the route. I did sign up for a Plugsurfing tag just to use as a backup, but didn't need it. The only extras I carried were a fire extinguisher and two breathalyser tests (which are required for...

    European Road trip (Feb 2022)

That's a good point - no they did not - or if they did, it was not sufficient. I read the other posts on this and the owner's manual, which states: Based on that I did not put any stickers on. I noticed that there was a significant bias of the lights to the left side, and I kept getting...

    European Road trip (Feb 2022)

Part 2 - Return Journey I used most of the same chargers on the return: 1) Oberhausen - as before 2) Moers (DE) which is at the Van Der Walk hotel. The navigation takes you to the entrance, but you have to turn hard left to get to the hotel or you end up in a residential street. Chargers...

    European Road trip (Feb 2022)

I am halfway through my first M3LR ( Dec 2021 delivery) trip from London to Hamburg and thought I would share my experiences so far. 1) Eurotunnel - you’re automatically assigned a LARGE coach - just follow the signs to the left of customs and you get in a single deck transporter 2) TACC /...

2022.4.5 Autopilot Regen Breaking is Excellent

I installed 2022.4.5 this morning on a December 2021 M3 UK spec delivery and did a fairly long frequent drive of 100 miles (although the only second in this car). I deliberately charged up to 100% capacity before leaving and arrived with 70%, so 30% drain and got 209 mW/mile consumption. The...

Need more non-superchargers in the satnav

Yes you can plan a trip on ABRP and send it to your Tesla - just select 'Share' at the bottom of the screen and then 'Send to Tesla' (I've subscribed for a few £ a month, so not sure if this is available for non subscribers)

Warning: Gridserve Braintree Superchargers don't support all cars - V3 CCS only

Made a detour to visit the Braintree Electric Forecourt today - the Tesla v3 SuperChargers now cost 27p/kwh (as stated on the in car navigation) - the display sign by the entrance showed the price as 39p/kwh which must apply to all the other chargers.

20 mph zones in side streets

Hi - I am a new M3 driver, so excuse me if this has already been asked. I drive around South London and the neighbouring Boroughs have different 20 or 30 mph speed limits applied to their respective roads. When I am on AutoPilot and most of the time the car will identify the speed limits...

Hi - another LB71 plate driver here. Picked up in early December on company car lease via Lex. Happy to join the crew!
