Question for folks here. Do you think it’s clear that you don’t get into the scheduled delivery line unti you complete the purchase details after making the order? Cuz to me it wasn’t. Hinted at and maybe implied, yes. Explicit, no. Just me or was it not clear to others?

I saw that when they made the change a while back. Although, they increased the price of the car $1000 then included the MSM color for “free”. So, did they include MSM for free after a price increase? Or did they just start charging $1000 for white too?

A little tidbit from my SA. If you get AMD, you also get 12V lithium and heated wipers. Apparently they come as a bundle. The SA was super helpful and has managed deliveries for 4 years.

Oh, when I asked for the manufacture date, SA said 2/13/2022. So, today. Just hope the paint is dry before they put it on the truck.

Was able to schedule a delivery date for 2/23 and the SA confirmed AMD, Li 12v, and heated wiper space. Happy as a clam.

Refreshed this morning and the app asked to enable Bluetooth for keys. Hit yes and a VIN appeared and a new EDD of 2/21-2/25. VIN is 377xxx, same as most of yesterdays VINs. Hope it come with all the goodies.

Nice. Good to hear. I’ve got the same config so keeping my fingers crossed for a VIN in the next week or so.

I think someone said this a while ago but I could be wrong: It’s not the OD, it’s the PD that matters. Looking and EDDs, that seems to align. Maybe????

Back to a 2 week window. 2/16-3/2. I think I got it figured out. On days when I eat cereal, my EDD gets bad news. On days when I eat oatmeal, it’s good for my EDD. I usually eat eggs which doesn’t affect the EDD. I think this is the best explanation so far and 70% of the time it works 100%.

Exactly!!! Hauling bikes is typically only for local trips but I’ll take it with bikes to Moab if the range works out. There’s a supercharger in Moab and another half way there. 230 total miles for us so we should be ok with 1 stop.

Pure speculation but…. Looks like the near term MSMs shifted out by a few weeks. My OD is 9/14 with the same EDD as you.

I did. Just for a bike rack. Although the “vertical load” limit of 160lbs has me a little disappointed. Kuat rack and 4 - 29ers puts me over weight.

I also got kicked to the curb this morning. My 2 week window moved back to 28 days. Now at Feb 12-Mar 12. I was pretty sure my last EDD would stick. SA said I had a scheduled build date of 2/14. Now… who knows.

Just got the date narrowing too. Down to feb 10-24. Glad to see deliveries with AMD, new 12v battery, and heated wiper area.

Got the text today asking about a trade in. I responded with “no” and asked if they had an update on delivery. Response was “The car is in production factory gate date is estimated for February 14th.” Anyone know what that means? OD:9/14

Makes sense. Takes the delivery truck with all the MSMs 3 extra days to get from UT to NC. 🤣 Seriously tho, I do wonder if they manufacture them in batches by color.

Back in September, I installed a 125A sub panel in the garage. It connects into the 200A main service before the main breaker box in the home. Then ran the charger lines from the new sub panel. Sure am glad I did it in sept now that it’s 11 degrees outside.

Ok. I’m going to jinx it and you all will say I told you so but… my EDD has been incredibly stable compared to most here. OD 9/14 with FEB EDD. It briefly shifted 3 weeks early for a short stretch then back to late JAN - mid FEB. 🤷‍♂️

Is there any way to see the dates the EDD changed? I remember the changes but not the exact date. Thx.

Hi All Not sure I understand this. How do hold removals move us earlier? I would think it could push us back as Tesla slots in the holds according to their original order date? Really hoping they don’t. Thx heaps.

I went to the order page every day for the 2 weeks before I ordered (9/14) to about 3 weeks after I ordered. From what I remember, the original estimate when I first started looking was JAN but quickly changed to FEB. By the end of SEP, the delivery estimates on the order page were into APR...

Also no fanboi here. In fact, swore up and down I'd never own a Tesla yet here I am, waiting in line and really impatient to get mine. I'm a nerd so I think the EDD problem is really interesting. I'm betting that on the whole, the delivery month stated at the time of order is fairly accurate...
