I had to keep escalating till I got hold of someone I could work directly with to void the check. You have fill out a loss form before they can void it.

Had to get DCU to void the check (took several calls and agents, and they sent a form for voiding). Tesla eventually called and I asked them to shred it.

Where exactly do you report issues within 24 hours? Is it under “Service” - “Other” - “Something else”?

Anyone know how the registration/plates process works in WA? Does Tesla give you temp plates and the state mails you your actual plate later? I’ll be moving apartments a month after delivery so don’t know what will happen if the DMV takes longer to ship the plates

No clue what TBD means. After lifting my hold in November I had TBD for 2-3 weeks and then it showed 12/21-12/31

After all the VIN unassignment fiasco, my EDD has now changed from Jan 2-3 to… TBD 😂

Spent hours canceling out my auto loan with DCU thanks to Tesla un-assigning my VIN 2 days before delivery. Same with insurance and will have to re-do the loan and all pre delivery steps again with a new VIN. No apology, no heads up, no VIN from Tesla. Beyond frustrated - surely there is a way...

Same happened to me. Just incredible. How do people do financing if you can’t even rely on the VIN not changing last minute?

I had a VIN for the last week or so and was ready for delivery on the 30th. The SA even confirmed the exact delivery date and time, app reflected the same. I went ahead and got my financing figured out via DCU. They shipped the check overnight yesterday and it’s supposed to arrive Tesla Fremont...

Tesla literally tells you to do those things when a VIN is assigned. I was told to set up financing and send the check to Fremont. I did that. Insurance was set up to provide proof, I also did that. Don’t blame the victim.

I got a text today to reschedule delivery to 31st, which I confirmed. I just looked and my VIN is now gone and I have a new Jan 2-3 delivery date. I’ve already mailed them the financing check, gotten insurance.. what the hell is going on

Snow is definitely causing problems! My Thursday delivery changed to Friday, 12/31 (guessing they still will do whatever possible to not delay it into the new year)
