If it’s for the insurance, after you take delivery you just call Tesla insurance and they change your policy period to the day you took delivery and then you don’t get charged until a month after the delivery date.

I was supposed to take delivery last week and got charge ported!! My Tesla rep texted today that the part is scheduled to arrive tomorrow, fingers crossed that we can pick up tomorrow! I’m not holding my breath though haha at this point I’ve died 100s of times holding it.

I wouldn't apply until you get the VIN, only took 2 days to secure financing in my situation after getting VIN and the car wasn't available for delivery until about 10 days later.

In Austin, TX. Delivery delayed a day, spoke to the delivery coordinator and the car is on a train in Dallas, was supposed to be delivered to the service center today but now may not be until Tuesday.

I don’t think the EDD is a reliable (at all) predictor of when you are going to get your vehicle. I think scanning other forums, it looks like MYP is taking about 2-3 months, MYLR is taking about 5-6 months with some occasional exceptions depending on location and if orders are being cancelled...

Been stuck in May/June jail for so long now lol taking delivery of a MYLR in Austin, TX. My EDD was switching every week or two for awhile and now it just is frozen.

I really think it’s if you have a performance order is the biggest factor. There were some 7 seaters who got VINs from some of the other month sub forums and a few in here who have already gotten VINS for MYLR 5 seaters! I really think location is another huge factor and luck lol

Also quick question did you do a trade in? Been reading that updating the trade in odometer may push people to the back of the list and it’s best to not trade in.

Seeing the October thread with more and more reported VINS!!! I think it bodes well for late March/early April VINS for us Thanksgiving orders.

I’m thinking April/early May is when most November LR orders will be delivered at this point. Very likely Austin builds depending on delivery location. My OD WAS 11/14 And the EDD has fluctuated wildly, even once being in early Feb.

Just in time for the holidays though! Lol

Interesting about the seven seaters, that could definitely be a factor, even looking at the other order month forums not many people have gotten LR in less than 6 months. Performance is a different story but it’s wild.
