How did the service go? Did they give you a loaner or just the Uber credit thing? My car was a champ in the snow yesterday 0 sliding at all. This morning slid a little but it was icy AF down in south Reno.

I want to say about a month ago someone was talking about their charge port being frozen. Was just reading on the tesla site and saw this. Hopefully you see this because i cant remember who it was.

Also with the new update you can change the color of the car you see on your screen + make it matte. 🤌perfection

It took what felt like forever. I saw a matte black s plaid at a supercharger the week before my appt and it looked unbelievable. You're gonna love it. Matte cars for lifeeeee!

Any August people get a screw or nail in the tire yet? 🙋‍♀️Got it back from tint/ppf and I saw a notification right away. Found out it was to do with tire pressure and noticed I had a slow leak with a screw in my tire. 🙃 Ran it to Les schwab yesterday and they fixed it in 30 min.

If it helps my front windows are just a little lighter than the back windows. My last car I did the exact same color as the back windows and at night i had a bit of a hard time seeing (I'm a tint wuss)

I got it done through a tint shop that also does ppf in Reno nevada. I've been eyeballing doing this for a few years now so I had to go for it 👍

It was a pretty penny, I got quotes from 4 different places ranging from $4,500-$6,000 where I live. The windshield and driver/passenger side windows were done with ceramic film the 3 of them now have uv protection. I'm not sure about the rest of the car :)

Oh that's a dream! In nevada we have to do it on our own. We get 1 month from pickup date to register. I received the email from Tesla on Monday that I was able to register the car so I scheduled my appt on Tuesday. 👍

I watched the "meet your model y" videos that morning as a refresh. - When I got in the car I thought hummmm how do I drive?😂😂😂 messed with the features for over an hour and a half and after that attempted my 1st drive around the block 😂

If you look at your front window from the side when your door is open. Then look at your back window from the side with the door open you can tell right away if they are both dual pained. My back windows are much thinner than my front windows.

I got my registration docs through email today. I've had the car since the 20th. I set up a dmv appt for tomorrow. Registration for my car is $800 in Nevada. I think AZ has wayyyyy better registration prices so good thing you moved there and not here 😂

Totally forgot to add that part👍 My service appt was able to be scheduled 4 days later (i assume my service center is less busy) because i saw another post from a person having to wait 15 days for an appt. The service center kept the car for 24 hours.

I didn't see a human during my touchless home delivery - here's how mine went if it helps They text to say they were on the way. 5-10 min later my car was in front of my house. Then i received another text saying the car has arrived (I walked outside and no one was there). My next text said...

I accepted and then requested service for the issues in the app. 👍

I paid in full through plaid 2 days prior to delivery. Super easy and convenient. I figure if I paid for it and had to decline the car or something happened to the car at least it would be paid for in advance.

No mudflaps or ppf on my car either. I plan to tint and ppf the entire car next week but don't want to leave it anywhere just yet 😂😂😂
