FWIW, my service center (Knoxville) noted and ordered the missing parts (both cargo area covers, floor mats, and rear license plate frame) before I even got there to pick up the car. None of the missing parts have arrived yet, unfortunately.

Definitely being careful — I have another vehicle to drive when it’s cold. My MS will get winter tires as soon as Tesla gets them in stock!

Correct, the Wall Connector's web interface is the only way to change its configuration. But the API endpoints you provided deliver much more information than the web interface AND are accessible via the local network, so a double win! Thanks again for posting them!

This info is fantastic! Thanks so much for sharing -- I had my Wall Connector installed yesterday, and I used these calls to verify that it's set up properly, since I have no car with which to test it ... yet! (DD minus 7 and counting!)

That's the same conclusion I came to. I'm doing a multiple layer ceramic coat instead. May possibly do PPF on the front air dam/bumper at some point, but not even sure about that.

Yep - according to their web site, every Tesla is road tested prior to shipping. Mine (which is still en route via train) has 15 miles on the odometer per the purchase agreement I received from Tesla.

They do -- my delivery center double checked my insurance when I was on the phone with them today. You upload a copy of the insurance card in the "pre-delivery tasks" section of the app.

I’m in that group, but I’ve got an EDD of mid-Jan to mid-Feb, probably because mine is a Plaid. I spoke with Tesla soon after placing my order to make a change, and the person with whom I spoke said I actually might get the car sooner than my EDD. Who knows? 🤷🏼‍♂️

I had a similar experience when speaking to them on the phone. I understand the Knoxville center is better, so that's what I chose for my delivery. (I live about halfway in between Nashville & Knoxville.)

I just ordered a Plaid in red, and seeing the photos here makes me certain I made the right color choice! My EDD isn't too far away (mid-Jan to mid-Feb) -- I hope that's somewhat realistic!
