I have the same issue that left trunk lid gap is too tight and the right trunk lid gap is large enough that I can fit a finger. Trying to find a DIY here that I can adjust myself. Everyone has experience for the adjustment?

Got the same reply as well. They said other Plaids made that noise too. I wish I can the opportunity to test drive other Plaid in my area to verify the concern by myself. It‘s especially annoying for driving at a quite night for sure

SC said it is normal for every plaid they drove. Maybe I am too sensitive for the high frequency sound? Could you also record a short video clips so I can compare with? It will makes me tinnitus sometimes..

Anyone has this kind of inverter high-pitched noise? It is uncomfortable and constantly there after 40 mph... I had bring it to the service center and got the answer said it is pretty normal for the plaid had the louder sound than the previous Model S

it does come from the drive unit, not sure whether it's the inverter or the motor itself.

I think they removed the "Range mode" option now. I do experience with different mode however when I switch between chill mode, sport, plaid it makes no differences regarding the high pitched inverted sound.

does anyone have this issue or it's just me 😅. booked the SC visit for next week, will report it back!
