    Tesla App visuals

Ah that makes sense. Here in the UK we do not have Drive on Solar yet so that’s why I am now using Charge HQ, which as far as I can see, does a similar job. So now I can let the app decide when to use excess solar to charge my car by adjusting the amperage. A great app for those of us without...

    Tesla App visuals

Currently I have a Tesla M3, a Tesla Wall Connector, 22 non-Tesla PV panels, and a Powerwall 2. On the Tesla App I get 3 separate screens - one of the car, swipe left to see the Home (TVs and Powerwall) and swipe left again to see the car and the garage with Wall Connector. I have attached these...

    Confused with installing TMC PWA

I’m confused! I have installed the TMC PWA on my iPad and logged in and all seems to work fine. But when I do the same on my iPhone I only get the option to Register a new account and as soon as I enter my current user name it says it is already taken. What am I doing wrong? At no point can I...

How to adjust amperage of wall connector to match solar output?

Thanks for all the helpful comments. Unfortunately Charge on Solar is not available in the UK else it may be a solution. I read about ChargeHQ and will investigate. AFAIK Zappi is a charger and not a software solution so as I have a Tesla Wall Connector I am loath to purchase more hardware. So...

How to adjust amperage of wall connector to match solar output?

I have just had a Powerwall and 22 solar panels (9.24kWp) installed so excuse me if my newbie question sounds naive. Being in the UK the solar output varies significantly during the day - maximum is 5kW (set by the electricity company) and my “base” demand level as I call it is around 0.9kW...

    Tesla Model Y-LR in Australia

Perhaps a short term solution is to do the seat belt up? Does that solve it?

Tesla app down - 503 maintenance error?

Seems to be fixed here in UK at 4.15pm. All now OK.

    Alloy wheel lug nuts

I have the 19" Sport Wheels. My wife kerbed (sorry, curbed!) one of them. So I fitted a steel space saver which I have but the question is whether the lug nuts are suitable for steel wheels or should I get different ones especially for steel wheels?

    Clearance under front valance

With all these problems in the garage (and solutions) perhaps I should just leave the car on the driveway outside 🤔 Seriously though I appreciate the ideas and when my car arrives on the 28th I’ll see the best way to prevent it hitting the other items in my garage.

Do you cook the noodle first or use it raw? 😂

    Clearance under front valance

A good thought but I want to try the blocks as they should be failsafe! Appreciate the response though.

    Clearance under front valance

Yes I did have something similar before but thought that rubber blocks would be better/safer.

By the way how do I "Like" a post - I can't see a button?

    Clearance under front valance

Thanks very much - I never could get the hang of metric - I was brought up with feet and inches. Thanks for measuring and it seems 100mm will be OK.

    Clearance under front valance

You're right - 100cm would be a wall! Thanks very much for measuring. The blocks will be fine I think.

    Clearance under front valance

Hi guys It's my first post so I hope I don't do anything wrong! I have a M3LR with 19" wheels being delivered on 23 March and as it will be a tighter fit in my garage I intend to buy a pair of rubber stops so that I know where to stop. My question is what is the clearance under the front...
