My MS 2022 needs battery replacement after hitting a rock on the road. Tesla service told me that they have a brand new battery which is the latest and needs retrofit to MS LR 2022. Finally got the VIN just moments ago.

I’ve been pre-approved for a third party loan. After the VIN is assigned ( not yet, but very close), I’m guessing it takes a couple of days to get the actual loan. Does Tesla wait for that? Would they not assign your VIN to someone else if they don’t receive the payment quickly?

After seeing your post, I called Tesla. The TA told me the delivery is scheduled for 9/12, this coming Monday. I'm hoping to get a VIN tomorrow so that I can complete the third-party financing.

No VIN yet, entering the EDD window tomorrow.

I have a ChargePoint home flex that I’m using to charge a BMW i3. I’ve ordered a model Y and wondering if you using a j-1772 charger on a regular basis (vs a Tesla charger) would have any negative impact on battery longevity? Appreciate your responses.
