Phantom braking big issue for me. When in cruise control (not FSD) driving on divided highway and no other traffic sudden braking with marked deceleration (if someone behind me would certainly cause collision...even with no one else near me it is very shocking for vehicle to suddenly decelerate...

Update: After several days with TSC they found "faulty rear drive unit inverter" which was removed and replaced. Just picked the Y up and have had no issues. Service person stated that this is not a common problem but that they have seen it before with above repair fixing the issue.

Benito1283 and Velcade...thanks...it does sound very much like my experience. I get my Y looked at tomorrow. I have had no issues since the episode. See if I get same diagnostic from Tesla.

Model Y little over a year old. 15k miles with essentially no problems. Entered car to drive 3 days ago but would not shift to drive forward or reverse. Red oval warning on screen to pull over to safe place because rear motor was temporarily shutting down…car was in park. Tried rebooting but...
