Heard back from service today and was told the front drive unit needs to be replaced. I was also told that one of my rear tires needs to be replaced too. I’ve sent the pictures to the tow in given that the tires were fine prior to service

I received my new offer for the total loss. After providing receipts for FSD computer and MCU upgrade, they increased the offer $4k. Obviously this wouldn’t cover FSD for my new vehicle purchase. What would you guys suggest as next steps? The new plaid I ordered was without any autopilot upgrade.

As of now, Tesla’s offer didn’t include fsd and mcu upgrade but receipts were sent and waiting for response. Ordered a Plaid today via existing inventory with basic autopilot and taking delivery next week.

Thanks for all the information. I have submitted receipts for the FSD, MCU2 upgrade today and awaiting a response from my TSLA insurance agent. The offer that I've received is for basic autopilot so we'll see how much they'll up their offer.

Thankfully no serious injuries for me and the other driver. I’ll keep you all posted on what happens and I’m also working with the insurance side having FSD added to the price they’re offering.

Same issue with my Model S which is why I switched back to all doors that I don't prefer especially for safety reasons.
