"Free" meaning there is no cost if you charge from them. Security is probably a minimum-wage local contractor...just confidently drive by, nod at the booth and keep going. There isnt a gate to open or arm to raise...the guy sees a Tesla driving in, assumes you belong.

Dont tell anyone, but theres a few free superchargers at Giga NY. Just drive by security and pretend like you belong. Protip: navigate to the Cheektowaga SC in your car to precondition the battery, no other way to get it ready. Use your phone to get directions to Giga NY. 🤫

On a totaled car their rule is 6 days of rental after they complete their inspection. As opposed to if they were repairing it, they would pay for 30 days (technically max of $1,500, max of $50/day). My adjuster was nice and upped it to 12 days. Which is still a joke compared to the 8 months I...

Well it was really $75k but $5k of that was for taxes so I just wrote $70k. So would still come out ahead today. Just sucks to wait 10 months. Reservation got pushed back to Sep-Oct.

Nope. Especially with the $3k that prices have gone up this week alone, $70k doesnt sound so obscene anymore. Though i’m still very thankful it wasnt a drawn out process with fighting and negotiations etc

Vin was assigned and then dropped as seller did not have a buyer by then. Once I commit he would then choose "Ready for delivery" and get a new VIN. I just got off the phone with Tesla's general line and the rep said their loss/fraud Dept would find it and blacklist both parties immediately...

Ya that's where I'm in the dark. All my paperwork from insurance notes a "no-fault" injury though it was only my car in the accident, it spun out in icy weather. Not sure where I fall in that regard.
