No Tesla Stores in WNY, but another local dealer was selling a few practically new Ys with a $10k mark-up…they let me test drive, but refused to budge on the price, so I went home and ordered on-line. 😉

I hope the Mobile Connector is not “engineered for occasional use” because it should be engineered to be used every ~200 miles of travel…as frequent as needed.

I already bought/received my 6-50 adapter to plug into my garage. I think it’s so common, that an electrician (familiar with Tesla installations) actually recommended this option to save money. Now, I just need the car…with a mobile connector included…;-}

Although Tesla does not go the traditional dealer route where we can see dealer markup, Service Advisors are still human. I’d bet they use this system to their advantage and still line their pockets at the expense of unsuspecting folks like us.

Seems like it would have to be based on the logistics of moving vehicles from one place to another most efficiently. It would be interesting to see the frequency of these shipments, and to what locations.
