My 2019 TM3 just started doing this about 10 days ago. It was sporadic but now its constantly. Driver side for me. Under 34k Miles. Scheduled service for nxt Sat.

Mine are a satin finish which has some gloss, I just figured it will match when I chrome delete

So this noise started happening after my wheels where powder coated . Any ideas ? It seems to be at shock compression

Update: After many months of back and forth the Tesla was fixed. New hood and bumper . Dents on door and fender fixed and color blended to match

I put my name on it with black sharpie

Had my hood replaced and the frunk color changed on my app . Took it to get painted today and it was all white. I went to open it and it lagged for a bit then it changed colors again. Why and how do I fix it ?

Sorry for the late response. Safelite because there is no after market glass and Tesla will only accept insurance if its Tesla insurance . They did a great job btw

Scheduled an appt with both . Safelite has to order and Tesla doesn’t have an appt until 8/31. Should I have Tesla do it ? My insurance Farmers has safelite on their suggested service provider

Update… Went to a bodyshop listed on Teslas page and was told the following, There was some front end cosmetic damage that bent the hood at the crumple zones and front bumper . Carmax tried to fix and Tesla recommends replacing. 5100 estimate. Going to have Carmax pay or lawyer up 🤷🏽‍♂️

It has that wave on both sides. Im afraid you’re right. Body shop or New piece indeed 🤦🏽‍♂️

I will definitely look at it , I may have to cave and take it to a Tesla certified body shop for them to do so if I can’t get it right . Thanks !
