My credit union was able to cut me a check for the financing on the spot, I called my delivery location to see if i could take delivery this afternoon 😂, but they said unfortunately the person who does vehicle prep was gone for the day. So just less than 24 hours to go before pickup for me.

Try logging on to the website instead of the app. When i received my VIN it wasn't on the app, but rather on the actual Tesla website account.

I think you can just reach out to a SA to have your trade in removed. I initially was going to trade in my previously vehicle, but sold it to CarMax prior since they were offering me 3K more than Tesla. I couldn't pass that up.

Try checking out Logix Credit Union, their rates are comparable to the other CUs and they have been moving fast with my financing for a Saturday delivery.

You are lucky to get a timely update and reply from your SA.... i haven't been as lucky with mine.

It would seem like especially this week ahead and the following week there should be a ton of movement if Tesla is to try to close out the quarter strong for deliveries.

My EDD date has been bouncing around each day. Received a narrower 11 day window and slight bump up to June 6th - June 17th. Hopefully a VIN is right around the corner.

I was thinking exactly the same thing, plus with Musk pushing for no more working from home and 40 hours in the office is another hit on morale.

I haven’t received a text or heard anything in ages. About 3 days ago on the website it did ask me on updating my financing since I had it set as cash. I was able to update it to outside financing with my CU.

Us early March orders from the West Coast are approaching T-J status.. 93 days and counting and still no VIN 😭

My order date is one day prior to yours, on Friday i was finally updated to a two week window. Maybe they'll be more movement soon this week for VINs for the West Coast orders.

😢 it's very demoralizing. I can understand Tesla logistically fulfilling the east coast orders in the beginning of the quarter, but I wish they would at least assign some VINS to the West Coast orders and be more transparent with expectations that those orders will be filled later in the quarter.

I just sold my car to Carmax, It kinda worked out well with being abler to luck out with extending around 14 days before selling. I received an online offer and waited the full 7 days to go to a Carmax location for the appraisal and then waited a full 7 days later to accept the appraisal offer...

It seems like the West Coast orders from late Feb through mid Mar are not getting any movement at all, so depressing 😭.

lol you do have a good point with Freemont being one stop closer haha. This home stretch seems to be taking forever for a lot of us on the West Coast. I'm thinking June and being the end of the quarter looks more realistic for fulfilling the late Feb and early March orders.

Where is your delivery location? I have mine in Camarillo, but was thinking of maybe changing it to Burbank to see if that may make a difference with pushing up my EDD and receiving a VIN :rolleyes: ?

I went and spoke with a SA yesterday about doing the same, but changing colors to MSM to White. He was telling me that a color change would most likely push my EDD back, so i ended up sticking with my original color. I'm note sure if I can bear another long delay haha.

For the people who have changed the vehicle color for their order, did it effect your EDD? Also how do you go about making a change on your account page? When i view mine, i only have the option to "view design details" and no options to edit.

Does anyone know if Tesla matches a trade in value of a current vehicle with offers from Carvana or Carmax, etc? I'm about 20 days out from the start of my EDD window and i'm debating risking trading in my car early and hoping for no more EDD pushbacks.

I initially had mine set for finance, but that just expired. So i'll probably change it cash and try to lock in a rate with my credit union rather than have another hard pull on my credit from Tesla. I was holding strong with my original EDD up until April 20, but at least now it's moving back...
