So Tesla is supposedly using trucks to deliver cars to LA and SD, but trains to deliver to Irvine. Seems impossible to understand their delivery logistics 🤣

@PeteOC @t1m1t have you guys noticed that Irvine people have to wait around 2 weeks to get the car after VIN assignment while guys at Burbank are getting their cars much sooner after VIN? I regret choosing Irvine as my pick up location. Our cars are just sitting at Fremont for 2 weeks.

OD: 2/28, switched to MYP sometime in March MSM/Black, no options Was 5/12 - 5/26 yesterday which was similar to a lot of Cali ppl, but this morning changed to 5/24 - 6/4 Called Tesla to ask why, but they did not have anything useful to say.

I had the same 5/12 - 5/26 window as you, but mine delayed to 5/24 - 6/4. Feeling pretty depressed.

Same config as well, but still no VIN today, just gotta hope for one tomorrow ;_;

Did you get the 2nd VIN immediately after removing the hold?

Once you take an order off hold, do you know if it usually stays at the front of the queue and would get a VIN pretty soon?

Tesla ignores my texts similar to @carpendj , so this kind of negative experience might be more common than you think, unfortunately.

Only an SA can put my order on hold though, right? I want to change SA's because this particular one is not responding to me. Hoping to resolve this before a VIN is assigned to me.

I recently changed my MYLR order to MYP because I was afraid Tesla will stop honoring OD prices after editing orders. I was hoping my EDD would bump sooner to Jun - Jul, but it bumped up too soon. My EDD is now Apr 3 - Apr 17, and I am not ready for the car this soon. Someone from a SC...
