I was under the impression from Tesla that they were providing the destination chargers to locations provided they would not charge Tesla owners for the use. Yes, you have to be a patron (dining or lodging) but not a fee. Hmmmm.

They are active and work great ... called them yesterday, and spoke to head of Engineering. He arranged for me to come charge for 4 hours this afternoon (not a hotel guest) ... just call or go to front desk and ask to speak to Engineering about it. They currently do not leave them "on" 24 / 7...
Did you try this route? I am looking at doing it coming back south .... I am going north through Springfield and then over the mountains ... staying in Bend for a few nights and then heading back south.
