I picked mine up yesterday, after sitting in the waiting area seeing all the information coming through about the refreshed model. I'm very happy to have the car and don't care that I've missed the new version.

Picking mine up on 1/9. Ordered 10/6, so just short of 3 months. The pickup location has been changed from Westgate to Mulgrave delivery centre, but that just means I get to drive it a bit longer on day one.

Update to my previous post. I got a call from Tesla on the weekend confirming my payment method and advising my trade in offer should be completed in the next couple of days, no mention of ETA at that point. Later I checked the app and noticed the delivery window that was showing June - August...

Woohoo. Price drop last weekend and now an extra $750 off and 3 months EAP because I used a referral on my order. Nearly $5k saved this week from my original order price - if it keeps up they may end up paying me to take the car :)

I didn't see exactly what I wanted there, and I also wanted to order before June 30 for the rebate, but hopefully pay after at least 10th July so I can benefit from some dividends as well. I just hope it doesn't blow out to over 6 months like when I ordered last time.

Thanks for that info. I was wondering if it was worth the extra, considering I would also lose the $3K subsidy in Vic if I went for the LR. I had to drop my order last year, and have regretted it since then, but finally able to re-order and looking forward to finally getting behind the wheel...

I fully expect my originally 14-20 week order to be shipped in July for an August delivery. I'm not getting my hopes up for anything earlier.

I got "The Call" yesterday around 5pm, the guy I spoke to had another 21 to call after me (out of approx. 100). I told him I had been expecting the call due to hearing from others. He said he will let me know if there was any new info, but maybe I should keep him informed, as I may hear about it...

I think some SA's are more proactive than others, I've had one email from mine, and other people seem to be in regular communication with theirs. I haven't heard anything in the last few days either.

I've not heard anything directly recently, actually only a single email from a SA after I ordered, but a few more weeks won't kill me. The only down side is that I am in the process of selling my car next week so I'll have to get fit and start using a bicycle for a bit longer.
