I would say in most states in US and provinces in Canada, it's illegal. Here in my city though the only time you'll get a ticket for tint is usually an add-on violation if you've been pulled over. I have it and imo I think it's more of a frowned-upon thing here unless it's limo tint.

Did you mistype winshield instead of windows? I don't think anyone is suggesting to get 20% on their windshield.

You're correct - 20% for the front windows perfect matches the back if you don't touch it. I don't recommend front tint.

I have white interior as well and I think my 20% tint matches the back widow that only have the OEM tint from Tesla. 15% for me would be too dark to see out at night.

Took a photo yesterday and this shows how matched my front and rear window tints are. Mind you, the back window is factory and the front has 20% Xpel Ceramic tint.

OP, have you thought about premature wear on your front steering assembly having bigger thus heavier set of tires?

Many owners have been living with this since we got our Teslas. The only surefire way of avoiding the auto wiper issue is to make sure your windshield is clean af. I've recently completed a short 800 km road trip and not once the auto-wipers activated - and I did AP 90% of the time.

They won't have these because they're just selling forged wheels that are MIC. Better to cut the middleman and order directly from the source. Saves you at least $1000.

My MYP winter setup is 275/40R20 square and I verified that it almost has the same diameter with the OEM setup. I have zero experience rubbing whatsoever and I've used this setup for 6 whole months last winter. Mind you, I'm using aftermarket wheels and Nokia R5 EV tires.

Nice ride! Be aware that the added weight in the fronts will contribute to premature wear of the front steering assembly as it was only designed for the lighter 255 tires and lighter 9.5" wheels.

As someone who ran 20x10 ET40 on 275 winter tires square setup last winter for 6500 kms, I doubt this issue was caused by the AF tire/wheel setup. Sure, the tires are 20mm wider than OEM but the wheels are at least 10 lbs lighter per corner - so that negates the difference in weight and stress...

I don't think it keeps the factory projector. And website has a disclaimer that it cannot have matrix capability once Tesla deployed the update. I guess the target market for this one are people that want the claimed brighter output albeit the manual adjustment/controls and the Teslux customers...

If these aren't brighter than OEM (which is already plenty bright) the drawbacks of manual adjustability, needing constant 12v power and probably insurance issues might not make it worth the high price. Also for matrix users, once Tesla pushes the update for it then more things to miss out on...
