Thanks, this is a great point. I dont have a CCS adapter yet but the software says that CCS Adapter Support is Enabled. The mobile charger bag did come with a J1772 adapter, so I could try that out at the very least.

Exactly, so there are countless vehicles all over the country and Canada that were built in April that are parked in a holding lot at the local service centers waiting for this part to be delivered for over a month. While Fremont is currently today building and shipping vehicles to customers...

Must not have had the missing ecu then. Its the circuit board that sits behind the charging port that is the handshaking communication between your car and the chargers that get plugged in.

The sales associate who I spoke with was the general Florida call center for Tesla so he didnt have any idea. I am awaiting an email back from my local SA who is actually at the location of where my car is, maybe he might have more insight as to if they have seen ECU's arrive at their location...

I have had my VIN for almost a month and no delivery text yet. If I were you I wouldn't treat their EDD as a hard date window and dont do anything or pay anything until you get a final delivery date from them.

Until you get a hard set date and time, never take their EDD as truth. It is more than likely for it to slip out.

My SA said one of the tricks is to put in the system that you are CASH and that helps speed things up and when you get your EDD for pickup you then can switch your payment method to financing.

Thats awesome you got a text. I have never received a text or email from Tesla ever regarding my EDD. The only way I get updates are from when I check the EDD in the app everyday.

I do agree and think that just accepting the Fremont delivery and enjoying the car is best. I am curious to see if my EDD window will end up getting pushed out on its own without me having to defer it. I will just wait and see as we get closer.
