I was told by the Tesla agent to expect delivery in September, assuming mid to late. I have since been allocated a last minute car, so would assume I was fairly high up the list for the next batch of allocations. My advice would be expect 3rd week of September and if it is any earlier than...

Thanks for the replies all, maybe I was a bit ambitious thinking it would be more like 75% charged! I’m good with stopping for a charge anyways, gives me an extra 30 minutes or so to play around with the settings and whatnot.

Would be interested to hear how much charge is in the car when you pick up, I’ve got a 180 mile drive home tomorrow - was hoping to do it without needing to top up!

Just spoke to Tesla agent online and they apparently don’t have an EDD for my order?! Mine is a company car, so have no visibility in the app. Pretty annoying tbh, one of the reasons I chose my spec was due to the reduced delivery times (May), now I’m told it’ll probably be August/September.

Fantastic update, very thorough! I’ll be hoping Morning Peace is a pleasant surprise for us who just missed out on the last round of VIN allocations.

As someone who seemingly missed out on June delivery by around 2 weeks, I fully endorse this approach.

Evening Mr M. Thoughts on some EU customers reportedly getting deliveries early July? Do you suspect the madness of the last month or so have forced Tesla to keep shipping over to EU/UK early in the quarter?

Would it be unusual for VINs to be assigned from a boat as early in its voyage as RCC EUROPE?

Ha, yeah, from what I can tell the lease company hate dealing with Tesla because they’re always unable to provide any kind of meaningful update! I try and limit myself to asking for updates every two weeks.

I'm in the same boat as you, ordered as a company car 30/03, same spec - whenever I ask for an update I'm told I'll get a VIN towards the end of May for June delivery... Probably a good thing I don't have visibility of the EDD, as I would be constantly checking it all day!

How do I update my signature? Couldn’t see anything in settings.

I don’t have access to the EDD within the app, so haven’t ever seen a date range, have always just been told “end of May/early June”. Who knows!
