1 more sleep, esign docs done, text from Tesla this morning to say collection tomorrow and location instructions, wait will finally be over. Delighted with the original date of September when ordering in May, although was hoping for June.

Just spoke to Tesla, they are 2 days behind on sending the finance documents out, they are on 23rd/24th collection atm apparently, I’m expecting mine Friday. Worst case scenario they can send the documents to site or send them over after collection to sign

I may be wrong but I also thought mudflaps came as standard on the front and PPF on the rear fenders. (I repeat, I may be wrong on this and someone will need to confirm all that, if this is common knowledge than I am very naive and didn’t realise)

I got through to TA earlier who said that doc signing emails would come out about nearer the time (around 10 days before collection)

I didn’t realise texting the number was a good option,just asked for my reg and about the documents and they got back to me in minutes to chase up the docs with their team and they’ve given me my reg

Further to this For me the source code has changed and looks a lot different to what it used to be, I can see my VIN in the source code

I don’t think it’s an error at all. On the link I can’t see it but if I scan through the code manually I can see it and it’s also in the lending agreement. It’s difficult for Tesla to back out at this stage with a confirmed collection date and VIN

My Hidden VIN has gone walkabout as well, although I have a collection date confirmed, no reg yet but the VIN is in my conditional Sale agreement. Tesla also text me today asking me to pay the invoice, yet no final invoice showing atm

Just had a text telling me payment is due and to view the invoice in my account, although not actually there yet. Still a bit worried about this 3 day thing but I've got a TA telling me in writing payment 14 days before collection is fine and nothing will happen if you go past the 3 days.

Spoke to a TA at Tesla over chat just now, decided that Shane is the new Emma (very helpful) He confirmed that payment 2 weeks before collection is absolutely fine, he said the three day wording on the final invoice is poor, reason it says that is around people cancelling and delaying payment...

My understanding was Tesla issued you a final invoice, then you paid the full amount before collection?

Just had a text to book mine in 27th at the NEC :) Any ideas how long before the final invoice is generated? I would imagine it’s a few weeks before?

It can take from a few minutes up to a hour or so depending on the time you do it I think, I did £5 just to test it out and it appeared in an hour (wasn't brave enough to do £100 just yet)

This may help people out and give some further clarity to those who got allocated VINs today (source code). I phoned up Tesla (as everyone does when they've had movement on their account) just to confirm the balance payment cutoff, as per the other thread they said 3 days from final invoice but...

Can someone clarify payment from final invoice generation? I just spoke to Tesla who said you have 3 days to pay the final invoice once it’s generated, is that correct?

I get the feeling Tesla Customer Services are busy today, 15 minute wait time on the phone at least and live chat is taking a while :)

I don’t think there’s such a thing (happy to be stood corrected) or more as likely you are going to piss them right off by messaging on a daily basis. Bottom line, your order comes up when it comes up, unfortunately everyone is in a queue but you will get there like all of us
