Don't resubmit it!! If you do that you'll get a new interest rate. Call Tesla and ask them to resubmit it for you and you'll get your original deal (presuming you pass the credit check again)

Yes same for me, ordered earlier than a lot of people I see on here getting narrowed end dates 🥲. Trying not to worry about it too much though just gotta see how this all shakes out

Truth is until you have a VIN your EDD means nothing whether it's a short window or a long one. I've had every type of EDD you can have so far: just a month name, dates with a wide window, dates with a short window etc. Nothing matters and it's all guesswork until there's a VIN

Yeah same here. No longer get a date in the app but I do when I view the account through their site. However it seems to be completely static

So what do you make of the majority of the new EDDs being September / October heavy? Whilst there are some in August they seem to be few and far between or starting from the end of the month and running right through to October. Reckon this new EDD spree is accurate or no point putting much...

If your EDD is just a month with no specific dates attached to it then it quite literally doesn't mean anything. It's just a placeholder while they wait for more data from factories. It's literally the same thing as not having an EDD

Isn't it still listed for UK orders? Think it was only US who took it away

Good Q. We know they never deliver to the UK in the first month of a quarter so like you say you should never get that month. But I'm willing to bet it's something as simple as your original EDD is the month you ordered + 4 months. Something super basic like that then the algorithm kicks in after

Basically the system has no idea when the cars coming so it's just been put back to the EDD you had when you very first ordered. Hence why I'm calling it a placeholder since it's 100% not correct. Someone posted a screenshot in one of these forums a couple days ago where am advisor called it a...

All the EDDs going back to placeholder months seems to support the "theory" there's only one UK ship inbound at those people already been allocated

Alrighty well don't get upset when it turns out to be true. Just setting yourself up for disappointment. Shipping thread and my last conversation with Tesla both corroborate that if you haven't had a VIN assigned then your car won't be matched until earliest August / September

There's only one ship coming to the UK, and people who had vins assigned on that ship have gotten their delivery notifications. Where could extra vins possibly come from?

VINs are done and people in the UK getting a car have received their notice now

I think their account is backed up by shipping movements too. The only way I can see further VINs being allocated this quarter is if Horizon Leader comes to the UK which looks unlikely

I spoke to Tesla couple days ago and they made me aware if you didn't have a car allocated for June in the flurry of vin allocations that happened previously then it's basically confirmed your car won't be coming until next quarter. They also said this should be backed up by an EDD update by...

I think realistically they don't even know themselves. I think the only true thing they're saying is that if you don't get a VIN by the end of next week then you're not getting a delivery this quarter. But I doubt they actually know much passed that.

Tesla chat said to me if I don't have a VIN by next Friday then it's most likely August/September delivery

Just spoke to Tesla and they also told me if it's June should know by the end of next week, otherwise it'll be August / September. Pretty sure I saw someone saying something similar in this thread or another one. My EDD still says 20-30 Jun but no VIN. Tbh I'm kind of past caring about when...

Not feeling good reading this...my exact spec too. No vin as of now, EDD is June 20-30, not expecting it to hold anymore

Not to be a downer or anything mate but may as well set expectations, I would be VERY surprised if you get your car in June given your order date. If you do, please share your luck to the rest of us!

If after all this EDD drama it gets followed up with VIN allocation drama I'll cry myself to sleep

Yeah I dunno what to do with my wall connector. Meant to have it installed on the 24th but at this rate won't have to car for months and months. May just stick with the install anyway
