Graduation day 🥳 Just finished parking it in the garage. They actually called and asked if they could come early, and I said yes. I checked out the car and everything looked good except one panel gap on one of the rear headlights. So happy with the color I chose, so happy with the car.

Whew, got the Cali $750 credit added. Delivery tomorrow, everything setup. And ready for tomorrow. :)

For the final payment did anyone wait for the day of to actually look at the car before doing that in app? I feel like I'd rather do my inspection first before submitting that.

I'm going to try. Tesla is finicky, I feel if I refuse to take delivery they'll straight up cancel it and assign my vin to someone else. I feel like I should be able to pick up though, I don't see how they store the vehicle in the first place unless it's going straight from factory to deliver to me.

They said they’re only doing home delivery because of space constraints… I don’t get this tbh. We’ll just have to see how it goes. 😕

Ugh, why are they trying to force home delivery? I literally live in the worst location for that just let me pick it up. Do I just call the SA number that I send messages to to switch to pick up?

Just got my vin. Just randomly checked and saw it in app. I should be able to get that $750 CA credit right? Since my MVPA is before Sep? Or do I have to take delivery before?

Yea, I at first had the MSM till I saw pictures of the red had to swap. Idk why I chose 19" wheels, I was thinking about changing the other day but rather not risk any delay.

Anybody EDD ever move back a long distance? There’s fcu I can get 1.99% rates on but I don’t know if I should apply now or wait a little.

Slight update to my EDD. On the frontend moved back one day, on the backend got closer.

Are the pickup dates on the weekend or during the week? Or does it depend on when you get your VIN?

Hmm, I wonder about this... I've only owned one car in my lifetime a 2010 Nissan Sentra I got in 2013 for college that I drove all over the place state to state during those years in college. And only this year did I start hearing creaking (no rattling that's weird to me in general) and such...

48-60 depending on the rates whenever I get my vin. I was advised not to do above 60, but I’m going to do the lowest amount of months I can afford to get the payments over as quickly as possible whilst still having money left over for saving.

I'm going to say it depends maybe on how close your EDD is. I've made a lot of changes and my EDD hasn't changed but I just placed my order last month so it's a few ways out for my delivery date.

Wait are these things not guaranteed on every vehicle? If not, what happens if you decline your assigned vehicle because they're missing one? Will they cancel your oder?
