Setting the following distance on 2-3 makes the car brake way to late for my liking. 4-5 works for me. I’ve noticed a big difference on the transition from slowing down in traffic. It’s a bit sooner and smoother

I’ve read in the Nov. order thread some VINs assigned for the MYLR are coming out of the Austin factory now. Im waiting to see if this is true. Possible if it is your vehicle will be from there once they get it rolling

I’m in the DFW area and I was offered a MY AWD a few weeks before my delivery. You can pop open the view inventory on their website to see what they have to offer according to your zip code. I’ve seen some on there for the current price of $62k. They disappear fast though.

I tried to get one under 70k. They wouldn’t spec one for me 2 years back. Sales guy literally said they wouldn’t sell me a base model. That’s even after my lease ended on my 5 series. 🤷‍♂️

X5s run north of 75k. Then add some options they go way above 80k. I do get your point though. BMWs have a nice interior. Compared to Teslas simplistic design. Running costs are obviously much higher too.

If it was anything like my experience so far. It may be 3 weeks by the time you get the vehicle after getting the VIN. I’ve been seeing a lot of peoples edd moved further out. Possibly due to the EOQ

If you haven’t received the text that prompts you to schedule the delivery I’m sure it’ll be closer to the end of that window . My last EDD said 6/12-6-18. Earliest time I could up was 6/19

I had so many updates to my EDD after a few months I stopped tracking it. I had at least 10 changes in 3 months. Waiting on delivery now after 7.5months

My CU gave me a tracking # for the check that was mailed to Tesla. Looks like it was a 2 day delivery. My CU was already familiar with teslas process so it was easy for them

Also just want to put it out there, I went to the DC just to check out some of these cars being delivered. Probably looked at maybe a dozen model 3 and ys. The quality and panel gaps were pretty spot on. I have less worry now my MY would have any defects. Dallas, TX

My vehicle supposedly left the factory on June 3rd from the text I got. Got a text to schedule delivery but only shows I can choose from a few days the week after next. 🤦‍♂️ getting impatient

I bet a better edd will change after the quarter. I would check after June
