I confirmed in December and mine is not in production yet. When I asked my DS if I could cancel and get the deposit back, he said it was too late.

I was a great car but I never drove it much (family of 4 does not work well with a 2 seater:)) I had the paint corrected and opti coat put on which you can see in this blog post: Tesla Roadster Correctional - Show and Shine Great car, a real head turner! Enjoy it!

I am travelling through the area Saturday and will need to charge. Assuming this station is not up and running by then, where is the next best place for a fast charge (i am driving to Falling Water from NYC).

Has anyone tried Artic Coating? It's a Norway based company that offers a ceramic silica coating like Opti coat. The detailer I called offers both but likes Artic Coating better.

My 90D has all of the options and delivery is Q3. The rep explained that Tesla is sourcing parts for the P90D first hence the earlier production/delivery. Did not indicate any other options made a difference.

I feel the same. We actually drive to SW Michigan (I see you are from MI) every August to visit family. There is a big gap in Supercharger coverage in PA that I hope gets filled soon!

I would say the new roadster is probably 3-5 years out. The Model 3 is next and projected to take orders in 2017 which may mean deliveries in 2018-2019 based on model S/X timelines. The new Roadster price tag could easily be in the $150,000+ range as well. At some point the original Roadster...

Tesla will not take a direct trade-in since they don't inventory Roadsters anymore. Several Tesla employees recommended that I seek a private sale.

Wash by hand using straight strokes, not circles. Rinse cloth frequently in clean water and change when dirty. Use an electric leaf blower to dry starting from the high points and working the water down the car with gravity.
